Jordin Sparks’ sophomore effort, Battlefield, drops today. The album, featuring the lush, big-chorused hit single “Battlefield” finds Jordin not only performing the R&B flavored pop featured on her debut, Jordin Sparks, but stretching her style to include songs that would not be out of place at the dance club.
Her next single, the girl power anthem, “S.O.S (Let the Music Play)”, cribs the chorus from Shannon’s 1983 disco hit, “Let the Music Play” and has the potential to climb both the dance and pop charts.
Jordin’s TV schedule this week includes: Tuesday: Live with Regis and Kelly, Entertainment Tonight and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Wednesday: The Today Show. Friday: The Wendy Williams Show.
