Katharine McPhee is entering the world of infomercials as she becomes a spokesperson for Neutrogena. She’s got a deal with the cosmetics company to promote their new acne medicine product, skinID.

I met Taylor, and in person he doesn’t look old at all. He has a very youthful-looking face. If he had brown hair, I think he’d look younger than 31. Gray hair tends to age people.

I kind of disagree about the gorgeous hair. She has a long face and her hair-style above accentuates that. She needs some waves in her hair to distract from the fact that her long hair makes her face look longer. Big n Sexy needs to make a Kat volumizer. I think they already have one, maybe she just forgot to use it. Pretty face, yeah-hair not. so. much. But that is only my opinion. Bucky, now, that was some purty hair.

weelassie, while the hair itself looks beautiful and healthy in the picture above, I agree, the style is not the best for her. Many of the other pictures I’ve seen of her she’s had more volume and waves. Those styles were incredibly flattering on her.
She looks slightly like Evangeline Lilly there.
Is the hair hers? She cut it short not too long ago, and I thought it was a better look for her. It must be nice to have that kind of versatility when you have access to stylists and extensions, though. :)
When I heard she was getting a Neutrogena ad, I thought she was going to get one of those Hayden Panettiere/Vanessa Hudgens-type ads where she does the cute open-mouthed smile (her trademark, LOL), splash-on-the-face type ads. I was not expecting an infomercial, though it’s not necessarily “bad” that it’s the type of ad they gave her.
She looks great and Neutrogena is a great product. Of course they promote an all-natural look and she has a fresh beauty that works here.
I have to say I kinda hated on her on AI because she seemed so phony. But I liked the preview I saw of the movie she’s gonna be in and I think she’s found her niche with David Foster too. She doesn’t have enough soul to do the R&B music she first tried out.
The hair style she’s sporting looks like something out of the mid-70’s.
She’s definately beautiful but I just don’t know why I don’t like her much. No real reason. It was her personality that just didn’t click w/me. Wasn’t crazy ’bout her singing but did love when she sang bluesy stuff. She’ll do well in all this. And yeah…Bucky should be a hair rep.
Not hating but isn’t she older than the usual neutrogena girl? Aren’t the usually teenagers like Hayden Pannawhatever and Emma Roberts?
I’m not a Kat fan by any means, but I will admit that she is good for Neutragena. She has the “fresh faced” type of beauty that they like. She really is pretty. And hey, at least she’s getting work!

Kat is continually voted the most beautful contestant to appear on AI (with Carrie usually running second) and it is easy to see why. She has movie star looks. There were times I didn’t care for her performances but obviously she has talent in other areas.

MJ - I read on one of the boards that Kat’s contract with Big and Sexy ended recently. I believe it was Idol Forums.
Kat IS certainly gorgeous and if this is the route she wants to go, she could definitely work with any of the beauty-related companies. And no matter if she is a little older than the teenagers Neutrogenia and the others usually put in front of the cameras, she is loved by a lot of teenage girls, so I think it’s a smart move for the company.
I’m not a Kat fan at all, but I do agree that she is a beautiful girl. This seems to be the kind of thing that is right up her alley, so good for her.
To me, Kat has that Brooke Shields look. I always thought Brooke was gorgeous.
