Kelly Clarkson Appears on Oprah – VIDEO
“Because of You”, “Behind These Hazel Eyes” and “My Life Would Suck Without You” were the three songs Kelly Clarkson performed in a medley today on Oprah.
Medleys are lame, but Kelly was not.
In a short interview with Oprah afterward, Kelly talked about staying down to earth and her brood of critters back at her spread in Texas.

You go girl, Kelly looks beautiful and she sang really well. I am so happy that her album is number 1.
Kelly is still the greatest Idol ever, its not just about album sales and charts. Its about her being so grounded , down to earth and just plain simple and she is who she is and doesnt pretend. I really like her! she will always have a special place in everyone no matter what, regardless if other Idols outsell her, she s just unique and incomparable! Go Kelly!
I like Kelly but, wow, she really needs a stylist. Why doesn’t someone help her?

I still think Kelly is the best voice to come out of Idol. I love her!
I love Kelly’s personality. I think she has a great voice: her cover of Patty Griffin’s “up to the Mountain” is brilliant- almost as good as the original and holds a place of honour on my ipod- still makes me cry.. but I wish she would sing less pop tunes and “darken” up her vocals and song choices. It’s just a tad too teenagey for me.
I floved her on season 1- she’s the only contestant I’ve ever heard with the ability to cover an Aretha song. Girl was awesome.

As always Kelly was amazing…her vocals are always spot on! I love her as she will always be the first and best Idol. BUT please Kelly get someone to dress you…your clothes are just awful…
