Kelly Clarkson posts in her latest blog that she’s, “just waiting for all the songs for the new album to be mixed and mastered. ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s pretty much taking forever but i want it done right so ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m not gonna rush them à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦.too much.”
Now that her upcoming record is finished, and plans for her upcoming single “My Life Would Suck Without You” are underway, she’s free to enjoy the holidays!
so ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ve been in texas since ending the tour. ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ve been hanging with family during the holidays and i made my first turkey with my sister this year à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦.which is kind of hilarious seeing as how i havenà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t eaten meat in over a year, but it was fun to make. and by fun, i mean our turkey was awesome and everything but ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll never do it again. it was freakinà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ exhausting!! i had to wake up at 5 in the morning, the night before we had to brine the dang thing, and oh my lord ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll never do it again. my sister and i made the ENTIRE meal and i gotta be honest it gave me a whole new respect for housewives because it was just tiring!! all the cleaning and cooking and baking and watching babies! now that ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m done complaining i will tell you that my sister and i had a competition with my brother and his girlfriend on who was gonna make the best turkey and well, was there any doubt à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦..you should never challenge the à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹clarksonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ women, we always dominate à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦.ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s what we do.

ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s awesome to grow up loving someone for their talent and then getting to know and love them more as a friend later in life à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦.i owe the big guy upstairs a lot for that one because that was totally something i prayed for when i was a kid à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ¦.okay, mushy moment over haha
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really looking forward to Kelly’s new album…

She is still one of the best to ever grace the Idol stage IMO.

She is the reason this show has any credibility. She is the real deal, and my first idol love too! I listened to Breakaway like a fiend. I think My December was given the shaft as I though it was magnificent. Kelly is awesome.
I’m REALLY looking forward to her album too.
I saw Kelly with Reba last month and I can say without a doubt
that her voice is stronger than ever. She is so clear and strong
on the really big notes and Reba allows her to show her stuff on stage.
Reba tears up like a proud Momma.

her back – she is completely covered. The girl is blessed and

OMG, I am sooooo excited for this album! And I can’t wait to hear the single! Anyone know if it’s got a radio impact date yet or an itunes release date or anything?
I’m really pulling for Kelly with this album. I think she’s super talented and just really really like what I know of her as a person. And abbysee, I agree – she is the reason this show gained credibility in the first place. Yeah, others have given a helping hand since then, but without her, I doubt we’d be talking about a season 8, yanno what I mean?

I can’t wait for this album! She is one of the best voices to come out of Idol. I saw Kelly and Reba and they were fantastic together. Would go see her again in concert in a heartbeat.
“My December” was quite good. The problem was Clive & the label successfully convinced everyone that it was a bad record. Low sales does not = bad record. I’m a little sad that she jumped back on the bandwagon so quickly. It would have taken her a few albums to get her footing as a songwriter, but she definitely had potential in that area. No doubts the next record will be great, but how long will it be before they start giving the best songs to a younger female? To survive as an artist in the long haul, she must develop herself as a songwriter.

I’m so glad that Kelly and Reba became good friends and toured together. Kelly’s come so far since we voted for her on Season 1. Some of these idols’ journeys are like cinderella stories, fairy tales that come true.
Can’t wait to hear her new songs … and see her on tv performing them.

Kelly is still the best Idol Winner ever - bar none. Carrie Underwood can suck it as far as I’m concerned.

I just had a Kelly Clarkson weekend- pulled out Thankful in honor of Thanksgiving and I didn’t want Breakaway and My December to feel left out – so I HAD to play them!! Be Still and Sober are probably my favorites off My Dec.
