Kris Allen continues his mini tour of Asia with a stop in Kuala, Lumpur, Malaysia today, and a nightclub appearance in Singapore on Wednesday (Feb 10)).

Kris performed a 9-song set at the showcase: Heartless/Gangsta’s Paradise, Can’t Stay Away, Before We Come Undone, The Truth, Red Guitar, Alright With Me, Live Like We’re Dying, Is It Over, Come Together.

Going along with the who to tour with bent, Train has an upcoming tour.
Kris has an amazing song on his album called the “The Truth” wirtten by none other than Grammy winner “Soul Sister” singer, Pat Monahan (lead singer of Train), and also Toby Gad.
Which by the way, wow, the performance of that song for the KL showcase is amazing, gets better every time he sings it live, he puts so much emotion into it!
Perhaps this would be an interesting transition if they use “The Truth” as the next single. And the demo of that crowd would be great (YMMV – my opinion of course), and I think it would be good for Train as well (this is not a slam against Train by any means, huge Meet Virginia fan here, plus that record was awesome!) just he might help attract a somewhat younger crowd to the already mixed crowd that would be ecstatic and not at all embarrassed to see Kris and Train.
Then again, for all I know, Train probably has an opener that has already been announced.
I would be thrilled if “The Truth” is the 2nd single as it might help Kris connect with those AI fans who he hasn’t connected with LLWD. I used to love AWM but I’m beginning to get sick of it and it’s the only songs in his album that I’m actually starting to get sick of and I don’t know why.
So I’ll be worried if AWM is the 2nd single… as I really want Kris to have another big hit to move his album sales.

Oh my God! Kris playing with fire!! I think that’s the first time I have ever literally LOLed while sitting at the computer with my headphones on. My husband was all like “what?” It’s hysterical.
That was just something else. People on tweeter are just having a good old time with those two vids. What is going on with Kris over there. And people say Kris is boring.

I’m sooo disappointed that he did not respect the dance enough to take off his shirt.
He is sooo funny, adorable, not afraid of taking chances (I’m talking about eating Balut), etc,etc.
And after watching the eating Balut one a couple days ago, I totally posted here for Kris to try to eat Durian fruit next. I know that one is a challenge for most Americans. I personally love durian in small doses, but of course I grew up eating it.
This Asia mini tour turns out to be epic. I love this.

I want Kris to go to China next. There is a zoo there that you can pay about $100 I think and enter and hug / cradle a Panda.
Of course probably he can go to an Australian zoo and hug a Koala.

Whew , I am struggling to keep up with all these wonderful videos & comments about Kris’s time in South East Asia . Not complaining though- this gives me plenty to watch in the lean times when Kris is back in the US before he goes “touring’!!
Loved the crowd surfing one- he was so close to the crowd – he seemed to feed off their energy!!
Also loved the fire- dancing video- so funny!!
I’ve noticed that Kris is singing without his guitar for a lot more songs fior these performances & also is much closer to the crowd as well. He seems to be thriving on this close connection!!
Ratna – I would love Kris to come here & do that- only koala’s aren’t that soft to cuddle !!

I was in that China zoo, but I missed the Panda experience because at the time there was not enough zoo keeper to allow that. Somebody got sick I think. I was petting a dolphin somewhere in Singapore. Somehow, in the US, they are more strict with this kind of thing. Too many lawyers here maybe.
I would love to hug a Panda in San Diego zoo, which never will happen.
