I’m not really sure what this means (“purchase on intervals”), and was surprised to see this paragraph appear/quoted in the sales prediction thread, too! Wut??!! I merely stated that I was going out last night to buy Kris’ cd at WalMart and I did: ONE copy, paid cash!! I also bought the itunes pre-order (my “other” purchase, by credit card). I do not intend to purchase anymore. I guess I’m not a rabid fan?

I’m so excited for Kris the song writer. I think that he is a quick learner and I’m sure he learn a lot during and after Idol. To think that this album is completed in such a short time with so many songs co-written by him, is incredible.
And since this CD won’t leave my car anytime soon, I’ll buy another one from Wal-Mart tomorrow. I need a backup, and usually the price will go up after the first week.

I hope that people outside the Idol world will discover Kris Allen, if not , what a loss for them.
And me as a Kris Allen fan will just have to steel myself and be strong because the next week and beyond will be harsh. The critics will just have a field day.

Anyway, hopefully this counted for Kris.

Actually, I can kind of see Kris having a beer at the top of the Empire State Building, at 1:00 a.m. … with his bandmates. That could be pretty awesome. Blend a little “wow what a beautiful sight” with a little “wow look what I’ve done”.

Hopefully he’s done something to celebrate somehow or other; something he would really enjoy.

This performance really was tight and possibly the best we’ve seen on TV of him with his new band. It was interesting that Regis brought them up and Kris said they’ve only been together a month. Pretty impressive when you think about it.

Somebody listened to Starr, and somebody else listened to me. I noticed that the drummer was wearing a dark shirt for this performance and didn’t jump out of the background.

Oh yes, I just love knowing that I have made a difference LOLOLOL

I don’t know why these mechanisms are in place, seeing as if you buy an album more than once, it shouldn’t matter if it’s the same person buying it; they are still giving their money to the artist. But I guess there is a limit for these things.

I am new to the whole Idol ‘verse, so I didn’t know that Wal-Mart had some kind of contract with American Idol and they usually release special versions with the bonus tracks. So I went and pre-ordered my copy of Kris’s album from Amazon. I had to get the bonus track too so I went over to Wal-Mart and got my copy. Nothing too crazy, I suppose LOL seeing as I am a CD collector, too. I pretty much have deluxe version upon deluxe versions of the same CD, bootlegs, etc. If they released a deluxe version of Kris’s record (maybe with the Mat Kearney track? ) I would buy it too.

I think Live With Regis & Kelly has probably the best acoustics and sound mixing of these types of talk shows. I think Regis had a hand in that and I really wish I could cite something. It’s just somewhere in the back of my memory banks.

I didn’t get to see the other video interview. It seemed to be taken down, so no comment. :::shrug:::

guys..please keep buying the album..let’s prove everyone wrong!!!!

You mean not yellow and red TOGETHER, but he HAS worn a yellow and white plaid shirt and the red-and-blue plaid shirt. I would show you proof but that would mean having to go through my archive of Kris pictures, and there are a LOT. LOL

@hoosiermama: I actually like that he didn’t throw an album release party and decided to have fun at a John Mayer concert instead. Who knows? There were plenty of music aficionados there that he may have rubbed elbows with. He may have even met Mayer himself, and that would have been a nice connection to be made, especially since they will both be performing at the Z100 Jingle Ball in December.

So, Kris really seemed to enjoy this one. He was relaxed and genuine and funny and made a really good connection with Regis and Kelly. Eye contact, natural banter … and the performance was excellent too. My god what a hard song to sing live. But it came off perfectly. Kid’s getting good at this stuff.

I really enjoyed that.

Yeah, I checked the add it was in Calgary, but it was by CTV and they own the biggest pop station in Toronto. So I’m hoping I’ll hear him soon (Buffalo station is fuzzy ).

I guess then it will hit Toronto soon; looking forward to it because it’s the biggest market in Canada; that would help boosting the sales on itunes Canada — the single didn’t work out too well but i’m pleasantly surprised for the album

ah Seeker, you’re so funny. Personnally, I don’t like much beards. And on him i think it’s not flattering, because it gives him a longer face. He’s much cuter without. And I seriously don’t think that Kris hotness can be much overshadowed

Mtlfan are they playing LLWD in Montreal? They’re not in Toronto, I’m listening to the Buffalo station so I can hear in the car.

I usually dont listen to radio very much but twice while i was in my car I heard it, about one or 2 weeks after the single was released. And i don’t take my car very often (work from home), so i was very lucky and/or they have been playing it a lot. I don’t know how to check this in the mediabase stuff. Someone said that there was an add today in Canada (maybe Toronto?)
