In this week’s episode, Slezak interviews Kris Allen right after his Z100 premier of the new single “Live Like We’re Dying”, and they discuss two more songs Kris recorded for his upcoming album.

• “Written All Over Your Face” is penned by the peeps who wrote “Live Like We’re Dying.”   Slezak describes it as   “wordy and catchy.”   Kris heard the song early on, along with “Live Like We’re Dying” and loved it.   He said it will probably make the album.

• “Before We Come Undone” is a song Kris wrote that with Lindy Robbins and Greg Kursten (Lily Allen, Flaming Lips, Beck). The track is unfinished. “We’re going to do some tweaks to it to make it better,” he adds, “The lyrics are…not so happy.”

• “I Need To Know”–a song Kris wrote–is his favorite of the songs he’s recorded so far, according to an interview with New York radio station, WPLJ.
