Kris is getting like not much attention from the media except those 2. For Adam it’s the reverse. So I think there is nothing to complain about.

Cookcricket, you sure you’ve heard KOL KIIS? If so, that’s a shift for them. Kelly, Pink & Taylor Swift are about as non-rhythmic as they get – I guess I can see Taylor Swift. I have never heard any rock on there so KOL surprises me. They have NEVER played Daughtry or Cook. Or even Nickelback. It’s mostly T.I., Justin Timberlake, Jordin Sparks, Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Usher, etc. They are not mainstream CHR, they’re rhythmic CHR.

As you can see, when it comes to non-hip hop solo artists, they like the girls but not the boys. No Jason Mraz, no John Mayer, no DMB, and I don’t think you’ll see Kris Allen. Adam Lambert is doing dance music and there’s a good chance he will end up on KIIS-FM and KBIG. We’ll see how his adds & pickups go. Right now, IMO, there’s a lot of confusion over two RCA singles and one movie single. When the dust settles, stations will likely add the newest single because that’s what RCA is requesting for impact.

I guess I wasn’t clear in my previous comment. It’s ok if interviewers have their own favorites but they step over the limit by pimping their own favorites in interviews that are supposedly to be about other artistes. Slezak and Jim do not attempt to shove Kris down people’s throats by bringing up Kris in Adam’s or Allison’s interviews and this is what I called professionalism.

OK, I need to post this here just because this is a Kris thing.

I’m from Los Angeles and never, ever heard Kris’ song in the radio except that one time LLWD on a Friday debut on KISS FM.

Anyway, I went to a supermarket on my lunch time (Smart & Final), and what do you know ?. I heard ‘No Boundaries’ . I was in shock.
And yes, I tried to go to a certain spot where the sound was clearer and just stood there until the song was finished.

I don’t know what radio station it was, but it made my day.

I know what you’re saying since I also live in LA. I haven’t heard Kris on the radio – or Adam or Allison. BUT, I have heard Kris at the grocery and gas station I frequent. The real surprise for me was hearing him sing ‘She Works Hard For the Money’ while the show was still going on. The grocery checker and people in line were bopping along with it.

Now I’ll need to go to Smart & Final up the street and see. Good excuse since Thanksgiving is this week.

Kris will be on Bonnie Hunt and Ellen today! YAY!

Oh yes!! And, imo, the vest over it works!

I’ll start with my shallow. I LOVE vests, and I love Kris Allen in vests – and skinny ties. He should wear them more often.

I was glad I got to finally see the MTV performance. I’m baffled why people were saying it was off, etc. It sounded great and the audience was really into it. Guys there too bopping along.

‘Yes, that’s me. I’m Mr. Bow’ (to the concierges at hotels). Too darn funny.

Nice to see he gets the love from NewNowNext and AfterElton.

Was Katy at the AMA’s? I didn’t see any pics of them together, nor any red carpet pics. I did manage to catch the local (LA) ABC red carpet interviews. I was glad they interviewed Kris. They tried to get Adam too but he sort of snubbed them and just waved. Their reaction was, ‘Uh, well I guess he’s too busy for us.’

KIIS is unlikely to play it as LLWD doesn’t really fit its format But KBIG 104.3 is a HotAC station that plays Kelly, Daughtry, Jordin and David Cook ‘” so I have no clue why they aren’t playing it. And I haven’t found a way to request them to play it ‘” their website has no requst form or request phone #

We are seeing the true Kris now. I always believed he had a great sense of humour from the little twitcams that were shown on tour – but now that the album is out & he doesn’t have to hide anything – we are seeing the uninhibited Kris!!

About the lack of hype – I believe amongst those musicians who are similar to Kris [ singer songwriter/musicians] there has been shown a real respect for Kris talent along with an eagerness to work with him . That is “hype” Kris’s style . That is what he craves for – industry respect- not some manufactured media hype !!

Even Jim & Slezac [ who are Kris's equivalent of media hype] manage to get the greatest in depth answers from Kris – so yes – I ‘ll add to the chorus – for Kris IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC!!!!

SOME people were saying he was “boring” yet Kris appears to be just the opposite. He is confident and truly talented. If you follow his tweets he has one of the best personalities. Funny, self-effacing, and humble.

Those who hate him are, like Kris sang “How could you be so HEARTLESS”, have no soul.

This guy has been through the mill, the media and the phony Hollywood elite looked past this guy, and even blasted him, for what I do not know, and they couldn’t see what a true talent and humble musician this guy is.

That is why Hollywood is full up with a bunch of phony kiss a$$es. This guy is the real deal.

I hope his career soars…if anyone deserves it, after what he has been through, he does.

What is this man!!? Srsly, I ask you!!

Everyone goes on about how normal he’s is, but he’s not!!! Constantly being under so much pressure, constantly being compared to … , So much negativity thrown his way, so much crap even about his private life… still he remains so real, so normal ….. He is not normal, he is not real! He anything but ordinary, normal guy!

I believe it with all my heart that he’ll be sucess, slowly but surely! He may not have rabid fans (except me, apparently) but he does have loyal fans and his kind of music will always attract new listeners (so will his beautiful face & his charming interviews).
