Why do i like No boundaries? I blame Kris.He makes the song very current for the radio and very catchy.It reminds me of Miley’s “the climb” with a better singer and more emotion.

Kris on the radio! How strange and awesome is that? I hope they play it around here, my local stations can be stubborn about playing Idols not named Daughtry or Kelly.

The station I heard it on is 94.5 WPST in NJ and they play Idols music all the time! If you go to their homepage — http://www.wpst.com — you can play both Kris’ and Adam’s versions of “No Boundaries” now!

They released it last night on his page. Is it no longer there? I bought it and it’s really good too (you know, for what it is.) Bandzilla and backups are overbearing of course, but it is very good.

Wow. The studio version of No Boundaries… doesn’t suck half s much. Actually, I don’t think I’ll ever be a fan of the song, but Kris makes it work. He really has a wonderful recording voice. This is like David Cook’s song last year. I didn’t think much of it at the time but it’s better in replay. I like Kris cover too. Such a cutie-pie!

Apparently, Sony tweeted trying to gauge reaction to the performance of Permanent and perhaps the song itself.

I wonder if this is the first time the Sony guys have heard this reworked version of Permanent? I think it would be great to have a studio version of it but I don’t know about releasing it as a single (only because it is so sad and it might be tough for Cook to promote, make a video, etc). I’m not seeing the charity version yet.

The studio version of No Boundaries sounds much better than the live performance but I think Kris should rearrange it when he goes on tour. I’m guessing Kara will have no say at that point.

What’s going on with itunes? The studio versions of No Boundaries are not clearly visible, charity Permanent is missing and the peformance videos are charting under top albums.

It’s soooo cool listening to Adam and Kris’s versions back-to-back.
(doesn’t change the fact that this song SUCKS…but Kris and Adam are Ah-MAZIN)

It definitely feels weird to me seeing Adam have the same song up on iTunes… but whatevs.

lol. seriously. But man.. I kind of feel for Kris. It’s HIS coronation song. And although it’s a horrible song (although somehow insanely earwormy.. It’s stuck in my head) it’s still supposed to be his moment.

Plus, he’s going to have to sing it during every interview for the rest of time.. while Adam, who now also has the same recording under his belt, can ignore it and sing whatever he wants.

Holy Unfair Batman.

ETA: Thinking about it.. it’s probable that they would have released both versions no matter who one.

In that press conference yesterday.. or the day before, Adam did mention that the ’singles’ would be available soon and that they were ‘both beautiful.’

It still seems a little weird.

Dude, you can BUY Adam’s No Boundaries. That is ‘effin crazy. I’m a huge Adam fan.. but WTF?

The popularity bars aren’t there yet for the songs. But they are for the performance videos… and it seems that Kris’ popularity bars are higher than Adam’s.
