Fellow Magnolia Stater here; I think the famous Square Books in Oxpatch may carry Utne, if not the Advocate. And for the record, LOTS of Adam fans where I am…I think he may have even carried the state on election ni…oops, sorry, final vote night!

This guy has a reaction I see from a lot of Straight guys about Adam being Gay and rooming with Kris.

I’m not going to bother to click on the link because I saw enough of the anti-gay stuff on Adam before the RS article. And if someone is so worked up about it that they have to make a vlog, then they have got some issues.

I am hoping many young men and boys will see Kris’s reaction’s to Adam’s RS interview. Kris is a great role model.

As far as those DJ’s and their anti-gay rant mentioned by Storm???, I would love to know where this radio station is. If I heard that kind of crap here in Los Angeles, I would boycott that station. I also think if that station was in LA, (or any other large metropolitan city) there would be a public outcry and those DJs would be fired. So I am going to assume this radio station must be in some small hick town where it is acceptable to be prejudice. Yeah, I said it. And on that closing note, Adam and Kris are really doing a wonderful job on setting examples on how real men behave. Rock on Kris and Adam.

I don’t think that you can even buy a copy of the Utne Reader or Advocate where I live! But we still need to have a “secret Lambert Lovers support group” branch here, too! Of course, rural Mississippi is not exactly America’s liberal hot bed — but the need is just as great.

On the Top 40 radio station I listen to, they pilloried Adam after the Rolling Stone cover, saying that it appeared AI had become à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“limp wristedà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ , and comparing Adam to Clay Aiken. The two male DJs were making all kinds of coded homophobic jokes; total frat boy stuff. They also said the Kris Allen à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“crushà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  was à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“disgustingà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  (their words) and said that Kris à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“probably wanted to throw upà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  when he heard it. One DJ wanted to bet that the other male contestants would ask for Adam to room with the girls. They said the AI contestants would be visiting the station when the tour came to town, and that they would report back if Adam was wearing fishnet stockings and high heels.

Such enlightenment! Weà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ll see if this attitude translates into less radio play for Lambert on this station come Fall.

Finally, a reason to be glad that DJs hardly have any say at all over programming any more! lol…. The program director may share the exact same views, of course. Oh, well.

And you’re probably right about it hurting him in some places, but he couldn’t very well not come out because he was out already! Had been out for close to a decade. So if he hadn’t told the whole story in his own words, you can bet that there would have been tons of people crawling out of the woodwork to rat him out for bucks in the National Enquirer. So everybody would still have known — and he would have looked like a coward and a sneak besides.

Adamà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s brother is hilarious – it looks as though Adamà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s mom and brother are part of the 20/20 interview (per his blog). His brother suggests it is wrapped around the gay thing – arghh.

As for those DJ’s……they need some lessons from Kris in how to be a real man. They are only showing their own insecurities acting like that. Sadly, I do think it might end up hurting Adam with radio which is why I didn’t think it was a great idea for him to come out so soon. Adam will handle this dipwads but he shouldn’t have to.

As per the whole Kradam soap opera, Kris is cool. They both are cool and giggling about all this, I’m sure. Adam probably told him about the mention in the RS interview in advance (after all, the interview took place weeks ago).

I was thinking Adam was lucky to have been put with Kris as roommate. Distracting at first, yes, but can you imagine how much less fun the whole experience would have been if he had been stuck with Danny or Michael?

I believe that in one of his earlier blogs Neil mentioned that he had sent Adam some copies. This was long before the Best Week Ever interview as I remember being surprised that he feigned ignorance, but honestly it seemed the best route to take.
