She sounded great on “Anyway” but sang the same verse twice. I think she must have whispered to Ellen afterward that she messed up because you can hear Ellen saying something about being tired.

She looks relaxed. But still = no personality.

I would say she did pretty good, considering all the media frenzy after her elimination. AFter all, she went from being kicked off AI to announcing her engagement, and now all these interviews, too! I think she’s got a great voice for country, and with the right people behind her, she could go far. I do wish her the best of luck. I signed an e-card for her wishing her the best on href=”http://www.squidnote.com/c/DjI7YhIyaey”>

She is so down to earth, you don’t see that in many people. Hats off to you Kristy Lee, your a natural star

Wow, her voice sounded so close and so clear. Funny how AI can’t do that, and they’re supposedly a singing competition. I never hear the vocalists that clearly on AI. She sang beautifully. She is a great singer. I look forward to seeing her on the Tour when they come to Maine.

Bandzilla’s fault, maybe? I know I really enjoy performances done with just piano/guitar over those with the whole band not just because it’s all stripped down and clean, but because I can hear the vocalist better, too.

I think Kristy did pretty well. She’s a pretty girl with a good voice (and one heck of a sob story to milk over and over again, if prompted), so I believe it’s going to take her far.

Sorry, but her voice alone won’t carry her. The country field is littered with pretty blonds who have “country” voices….how much more can it take?

She sounded even better than when on AI. I think she will have a great career ahead of her. I’d rather listen to her any day than Carly.

I watched Access Hollywood last night and felt a bit sorry for her. That had a feature on Michael Johns - a “Day In the Life” post-Idol. Of course, they gave him almost a third of the show when he left AI. Kristy didn’t even get to sing her entire shortened song. She did Anyway, while the credits ran. Very little exposure, comparatively speaking.

I noticed that too, Bobbi. I knew Michael would be on so taped it but was surprised they didn’t even talk to her. I assume you can see more with her on their site.
