Wow! A new song from Lady Gaga! We haven’t had one of those in awhile. *snerk*. “The Edge of Glory” is another throwback to the 80’s (like “Born This Way”) featuring some 80’s style sax by Clarence Clemons from Bruce Springsteen’s E Street band. And unlike “Judas” it’s not pretentious, boring and well, terrible.
But man…I think I’m over Gaga. When I saw her perform on So You Think You Can Dance a few summers ago, I thought she was the coolest thing ever. Now I kinda wish she’d just go away. She just tries way too hard.
Make sure to check out Gaga mentoring the Idols on Wednesday as they take on the songbook of Lieber and Stoller. Say what??? Yeah, that should be some interesting shizz right there.
