2nd Update: I’m listening to the leak, and I think Kelly’s got a winner on her hands! It’s a solid pop record, with Kelly’s awesome pipes the glue that holds it all together.
UPDATE: No need to go to Norway! I’ve posted the clips after the jump… The Norway iTunes site had the album available for sale for a short time–All I Ever Wanted has leaked on to the internet…
Ok, this is a little clunky. If you want to listen to clips from Kelly Clarkson’s new album, click on:

i loved the songs kelly worked with ryan tedder. especially already gone. it sounds so epic. very ryan tedderish with a kelly twist and beyond what i expected. love it.
i can’t wait for her album. why does it have to take sooo long.

I couldn’t resist downloading the leak. (I *will* buy it on March 10th as well…I’ve got an iTunes balance with Kelly’s name on it!) I’m loving it. “I Do Not Hook Up” is kick awesome (tm Kris Allen) and “Save You” is utter perfection. So, which songs other than “Save You” did Ryan Tedder work on anyway?

Awesome!!! I couldn ´t resist the leak either but I’m also buying a copy of it first day it comes out.
As she said, it’s a mixture album. It has Rock/pop anthems, up-beat and fun songs and some heartfelted ones. It’s certainly going to be a smash comeback to her.

An overall strong album with many potential hit singles, I hope she would be able to pick some pop/rock songs and not waste all the singles in Katy Perry-ish songs. I would be happy if any of Cry, Don’t Let me Stop You, Save You, Impossible or even All I Ever Wanted become singles.

Kelly sounds fantastic! I really liked Already Gone, Save You, Whyyawannabringmedown and I Want You (reminded me of Kate Nash or Lily Allen). I only listened to snippets. Based on those a lot of the others sounded similar in tempo and vibe and not as interesting, but I’ll wait to hear the whole songs.
It’s what I expected, but it’s still a good album. Very radio-ready. I’m loving ‘Already Gone’ like everyone else and I’m also digging ‘All I Ever Wanted’. It has a cool Lenny Kravitz vibe to it.
‘I want you’ sounds like a jingle for an iphone commercial.

Nice songs…with the exception of Already Gone, the songs are quite generic.

The intro to Already Gone also sounds a lot like the intro to Halo. Also the underlying beat is very similar to Halo’s. Weird. But I like Halo so it’s all good haha.
Save You and Already Gone are my favorites… =) Some of the rockier songs , she sounds a lot like Pink…I really much prefer her on pop/rock ballads.
I like “I Want You” too. It’s fun, and it totally didn’t hit me at first, but you’re right… it does sound like a song Kate Nash or Lily Allen would sing. Diversity is a good thing, methinks.
I think those 4 you mentioned are my favorites too, from the snippets at least.
I like some of the songs, Already Gone is definitely a stand out. However, I just don’t get a big Kelly vibe from them. Someone mentioned that they heard a lot of other artists when listening to these songs, and I agree. That doesn’t mean that they’re not good songs, just not 100% her, imo. That’s my issue with ‘My Life Would Suck’ and I have the feeling the entire album is going to feel that way for me.

I prefer Katys Hook up to Kellys, but I think Kellys Long Shot is much better than Katys.
I love Kelly to death. I’m so glad she’s making a comeback, although I think it sucks that she had to because I liked her last album too. It was just different than this unabashedly Top 40 sound, which I guess a lot of people didn’t like. But, as they are so fond of saying on Idol, this girl could sing the phone book and it would be awesome.
By the way, MJ, congrats on your mention in EW. Same grade as VFTW…impressive!

I do have to say even though leaks ruin the suprise of the arrival of the album, this is amazing. I Love Don’t Let Me Stop You! Long Shot and Hook Up we amazing by the fukin katy perry but she rocks at them too.
