Loved his performance and interview!! Both very heartfelt.
Michael has “given back” in so many wonderful ways. Sharing
his talent to help those less fortunate. I’m proud to be his fan.

  • Lino:

Yeah. I read it will air tonight. It will be good to see him performing on tv.

He should have done performances like this on American Idol.

  • Java:

Thanks for posting MJ! Yes, he recorded it yesterday and it will air tonight and again on Christmas Eve.

i just dont get the overblown praise for this song or his singing of it

if a no one came out and sang this like MJ it wouldnt make it past a demo IMO

i try hard never to post derogatory stuff but i just dont get this but again JMO

  • bubbles:

Well, I for one love the video, the song, and the interview. Nothing wrong with loving something that you feel a connection with. Or loving it just because you love it.
I try very hard sometimes not to post mushy gushy stuff, but I do get this!!
Michael wrote the song for his family and has now released it for charity…Good on you Michael!

  • weareallinnocent:

Ya know, I gotta reluctantly go with dancin on this one, his charitable gift notwithstanding. He’s a fun sweetheart and a cutie, to be sure. And, the sentiment expressed clearly is heartfelt. But, this song itself and this performance? Not so much. YMMV, as always.

  • heart2:

Beautiful Beautiful..Well done Michael….This song is so amazing and Michael makes it so amazing because he sings it from his heart!! This is one of the best Christmas song I have heard in a long time…I really wish other Artist would take notice and make there Christmas songs more meaningful…Yep.. The best ..Thank You Michael!!

Thank You MJ for posting this wonderful song!!

  • plumeria:

Love this song and Michael’s voice. It’s different, not your regular run of the mill christmas song out there. The sentiment is heartfelt, personal, real and sung and performed beautifully. Love you Michael!

  • OregonMJFan:

This is such a beautiful song! Thanks MJ for posting and thank you MJ (Michael) for releasing this song for charity. You’re right, plumeria, this is different from most Christmas songs. This is what Michael said about it:

“There’s so many songs written about how everyone’s gonna be home and around the fireplace and everything else and there’s so many situations where families are apart for whatever reason,” Michael recently told AccessHollywood.com.

  • IdolFanatic:

It’s a simple and sweet song for Christmas. Sure, it’s no materpiece, but I enjoyed it! It made me think of all the troops serving overseas who can’t come home for Christmas. My brother was there 2 years ago…got deployed on Christmas Day and boy, did that suck. I think this song is perfect for that type of thing. Nice job Michael!

  • woo:

This is wonderful! I love it! What a beautiful performance, way to go Michael!

  • absabella:

Lyrics heartfelt, Sung by an amazing man, Michael always thinking of others.. Warms my heart! I’m so happy and proud!! Go MJ!!

  • rainman:

Beautiful voice, beautiful song, beautiful sentiment and cause. And did I mention beautiful man?? Haven’t seen any other idols dedicate all the proceeds of their first single to charity!

  • poporange:

I just saw probably a repeat of him singing”ST. Elmers Fire” I could see why a major label was interested in him even if it may not of panned out… MJ braught this A game there would be a good chance someone named David would not have the title..MJ has that something ………

  • maracaibo:

MJ did a great job. His voice sounds great.
He should have shown more of his acoustic side on AI. I am loving it.
He has a great husky tone.

The song is very heartfelt, you can tell. Great for him to donate this one for charity. I wish Michael good luck in his future career. He is going to need it now going indie.

I can also see why a major label was once interested him.. Too bad it never panned out.

  • prop joe:

I agree that MJ’s voice is special. He can make an otherwise ordinary song interesting. It’s why people here in uh, the Davids’ country (Philippines) and even the non-AI viewers, appreciated his live performances recently. Filipino fans are also looking forward to his career post-Idol. Thanks for posting these.
