Michael Sarver – Signing Party and Performance at the Dream Center, LA

Michael, his wife Tiffany, and Dream Center co-founder, Pastor Matthew Barnett pose at Michael’s signing party

Michael Sarver celebrated his signing with Dream Records/Universal at the Dream Center in Los Angeles yesterday (Nov. 19).   Later, he performed a few songs for the Dream Center’s congregation, including a new tune, “Cinderella Girl”

The Dream Center is the faith-based organization releasing Michael’s country album (in partnership with Universal Records) in 2010.

Besides “Cinderella Girl”, Michael performed his new single, “You Are” and a praise and worship song.

Michael tweeted last night, “Well today was an amazing day and tonight was an amazing night. I am blessed beyond words. Thanks to all that tuned in tonight. U guys rock”

After the Jump, Michael performs “You Are” and a praise song.   Still looking for a recording or video of “Cinderella Girl”…

  • I am happy that things are working out for Michael! Looking forward to hearing his new singles.

  • Wait, wasn’t he the guy who didn’t want to go this route but everybody else thought he should?
Providence works in mysterious ways. Congrats to him. This seems a good fit.

  • congrats to Michael, he really deserve this, I will not forget how he was the only one signing outside in the rain aug 12 in NY, and I really like his voice. I am not a big fan of country, but if he does country pop like carrie, he will be successful, will download his singe regardless.

  • Michael seems very happy about this. Hope he can do well.

Dream Records seems to be partnered with a Universal Christian Music Group, whose website says they do sales and distribution. It doesn’t appear to me that Universal Christian Music Group is related to the big company Universal Music Group; neither company’s website mentions the other.

  • I really like Michael’s new praise song. Herein lies the beauty of American Idol. There seems to be a niche for most of the top 10-12. Some go country, rock, pop, or Christian, while others make it on Broadway or in the movies. (Jennifer Hudson) Michael joins Chris Sligh, Mandisa and Phil Stacey in the Christian arena. Am I missing anyone?

    Congratulations Michael!

  • That’s good news for Michael, one of the nicest guys to the fans on the tour. Best of luck. This sounds like a good match for him.

  • Yes, I too will buy Michael’s music. This is a day I have been waiting for since Top 13 week. So happy for him and his family–and his fans. Way to be, baby. Good times!!!!

  • Michael is such a sweet and nice person.

  • i had to find out more about this guy…..i found a video of him singing a song called Cinderella Girl and it was amazing! more pop than country .. looks like he is new to the music world. i will say the audio was poor but you could still hear the song pretty well and you can only imagine what a studio version will sound like. this guy can Belt it out!
