This week is tough. Hmm. Ramiele Malubay. Last night, she was third–a dead spot–and she turned in another lackluster performance. She’s got a strong fan base, however.
Brooke White could be a surprise boot. She hasn’t had a really strong performance since Top 12, and she performed first and was unmemorable.
Jason Castro had a solid performance, but he lacked the wow factor. He could be in the Bottom 3 tonight, but I don’t think it’s his time to go yet.
Syesha Mercado has been lackluster too, and although I don’t think she’s got a strong fanbase, she’s the only true R&B singer left. Plus, she had a nice spot–right before the pimp spot. And according to Dialidol, she’s totally safe.
I think Kristy Lee Cook did enough, in a genre where she’s comfortable, to last another week.
Alright. I’ve thought it through. Although I said in my re-cap that I thought her fan base would save her another week, I’m going with Ramiele Malubay. Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a shock elimination tonight.

I’m so confused tonight. I have half of my points on Rami, but I split the other half between all the other girls except for Carly. I don’t know why I’m so concerned, since I’m way down in 70th place, LOL.

You have a point. Carly’s performance was pretty strong last night, but she’s been on the verge lately.
Carly had a pretty strong performance last night, but since she has been in the bottom 3 before, anything is possible. My thinking like some others, is that it will be Ramiele unless we do get a shocking boot.
MJ, I’m just going to take comfort in the fact that you don’t think it’s Jason’s time to go yet. That would be a SERIOUS bummer. :(
Those are definitely the five who are in danger this week.
I think Kristy and Syesha will survive another week:
Kristy made her fans happy. Syesha performed an average version of a spectacular song and had a good spot in the lineup.
So, unless I change my mind before the show, I’m putting all 20 on Ramiele- she’s probably the most predictable choice for tonight because of the reasons you listed.
Unfortunately, if there’s a shocker, it’ll be between Brooke and Jason. Brooke’s will be more “shocking” than Jason’s, I think.
NOOOOOO! I have been feeling my fav Brooke could be in danger all day, but I’ve been in a tad bit of denial. Since she’s never been in the bottom 3, I thought it was highly unlikely she could fall that fast. But hearing MJ say what I was thinking is scaring me. Damn, I really have to think about my picks this week. :-(
I will be so sad if Brooke or Jason leave tonight - there are 3 girls who should go before them starting with KLC .
I think Brooke could possibly be in the bottom 3, but I don’t think she’ll go home.
I think I’ll put 15 points on Rami and 5 on Syesha. Of course, I’ll probably change my mind before the show starts.
You know what, I think I’ve finally made a decision. When I consider everything I am thinking Carly is the more vulnerable one. DI has Kristy, Jason, Ramielle last but they don’t count text votes. Texts tend to skew to fanbases heavy on the young and the rabid LOL. That would give Jason and Ramielle (maybe Kristy) a boost. That leaves Carly & Brooke. Carly has been in the bottom before on a night when she performed really well. I also think she spilts votes with the Michaels of the world, and he had a great night. Brooke probably splits votes with Jason, but he was only OK. So I think I’m gonna go with Carly and Kristy.
Now, I am fully aware that this is all wishful thinking/twisted logic because I don’t want Brooke to leave. No need to point it out to me. Whatever helps me get through tonight, ok? Sigh.
All I feel certain of is that a girl is leaving tonight. I put 10 on Rami and 5 each on Brooke and Carly, but I could just of easily but 5 each on Kristy and Syesha. Arrgh.
ETA: Can Pinoys outside of the US vote? I keep wondering about this mythical Pinoy fanbase and just how big they are.
I know the buying public and the voting public are different….but iTunes had a slip up and the rankings of the pre-ordered songs for the Top 9 are showing up on the Top Albums chart.
The three that didn’t make the overall chart are Syesha, KLC, and Ramiele (in that order). I hope the B3 goes down this way.
I would hate to see Brooke or Jason go tonight..especially Jason..come on Jason fans we have to vote..lol. I think it will be Ramiele that goes tonight but if there is a shock elimination I hope it is Carly not Brooke or Jason.
Sh*^, changed my picks three times. The last time I did that I got ZERO points. *sigh*, this is too much work, lol. I don’t want to see Jason go tonight, he should outlast Rami, and KLC, and possibly Syesha and Brooke. Carly would be a surprise boot, I just think she was incredible so I can’t put any points her, and I don’t think we are at the point for a surprise just yet. This is becoming difficult because even though everyone has seemed to lock into a favorite, every week there is someone stepping up their game, and this pool is very deep. To me only two remaining shouldn’t be there, Rami and KLC are just out matched.
I think Carly could get some sympathy votes because of Simon’s comments last night. I’m so confused!

i will poop myself is carly leaves…she is BY FAR the most underrated contestants based on judges comments…i still dont get them…outside the show they praise her..on the show they are sooo hard on her. that and i really wish someone would tell carly she needs an image…i mean, how freaking hard is it to realize that?!?! people are stupid sometimes…oh geeze, michael just croaked on the group song.

They want Jason out because he’s eating into D’archie’s votes. With Rami gone, Jason will be ahead & they can’t risk it. It’s going to be a Jason shocker tonight though I hope I’m wrong.

I have a bad feeling Jason will go tonight, even though he seems to have a large fanbase online. He really should last till at least Top 5.
Problem is, he hasn’t had a Wow performance literally since week 2.
I’m a fan, but all of his songs are sounding the same at this point. I get what Simon is saying. He needs to mix it up with a power ballad or something.
