Paula, the comment you brought over from another site was also obviously written by a Kat fan. :) How did I guess? Oh, a few things gave it away, like….”her voice just blows you away. She really does a great job on the song, nailing the high notes in the chorus. As others have noted, the best part of her voice is that quality of her middle register. I’ve never yet heard her nail the high notes, but then her voice has never blown me away anyway. Thank you for the report. I wondered about the two songs on Leno! Maybe so, but not for the television viewers anyway.

I am excited about Elliott’s single and his cd and HIS excitement and his fans who’ve had to wait such a very long time for this good news he’s brought. Anxious to hear it myself and I’ll at least download from itunes if not buy the whole cd. YAY!

Had to listen to Kat on Leno before going to bed. That was bad. You could not even tell her voice from the background singers. SHe couldn’t move either because of the dress.
The song — not so good. I think they need to drop the back ground singer and shorten the song.
That song - Over It - the WORST piece of trash I have ever heard. Geeze Louise, man - it makes My Destiny sound good.

Agreed. Those back-up singers did not do her any favors. They should cut them out or at least mix the audio better next time. She started to shine a little towards the end but it was clear she was extremely nervous.

Mad we were discussing Barbaros euthanasia in chat and I just went over to Tays myspace and saw creepy pictures and the two combined into a very strange image.

DogDoc………..it was sad about Barbaro. He must have suffered the whole time. I could relate to his condition in that if humans have a bad leg or sciatica or something, you tend to favor the other leg and soon your hip is hurting and you get all out of whack. Been there, done that, until I got a chiro to go to regularly.
Breaking news from BDAM out of Oregon…the three backup singers appearing on Leno tonight with hoochie momma McPhee are the second string singers and have only started singing together tonight when the original Beaverettes decided they could not appear tonight due to various and asundry reasons.
Lindsay Lohan could not in good concious sing Over It because she knew she would be getting liquored up in the near future….oh, looks like she might be going for a cold one as we speak.
Paris Hilton just couldn’t do it cause she was suffering from an attack of herpes and just wasn’t over it. And as bad luck would have it, she couldn’t get her prescription from her storage locker because her “people” forget to pay the bill. Those horrible herpes, she just isn’t Over It.
Britney just couldn’t do it tonight. She was not going to lie and sing that song. She knew her flashing days are just not over. Besides, she had to get home early tonight to read “Sign of the Beaver” to her offspring. Maybe she could talk KFed into taking her place but sheesh, he can’t be a Beaverette.
This second string lineup tried their best but Bushy, Itchy, and Telly Savalas are still new to the gig. Give them time and they will soon be- divine, diva, and oh la la :)
Well- I just watched a recorded dvd of Kat on Leno…yeah, if I wasn’t a Kat fan I would write a bunch of snark,snark and let you hear me loudly bark….I would say it was carp and really pull it down as much as I could and worry about that single and what it would mean for her future!….BUT- I am a Kat fan and oh soooooo delusional and found it purrrrrrrfect!!!!!!!….Hey folks-Ding, Ding..I hear a winner! Hot single and hot sales ahead!..whoopeee for me as a Kat fan….anything else and and I would be so “over it”….I’m a happy man!

OMG, that *** performance was just awful on Leno. What was with the angst moment pulling at her hair? Jeesh, she has the stage presence of a Barbie doll, this will be a fantastic song for nights I can’t sleep.
