So, it sounds like Jordin and Blake will both be singing a beautiful ballad. I can’t imagine Blake doing beautiful ballads, however, I did enjoy “Imagine.” Guess the judges didn’t like it so much. I still think Jordin will win. Will they both release the same single as Bo and Carrie had to do? That was interesting.
I too will be sorry to see the daily thread gone. I didnt post a lot but really enjoyed reading all things idol. A hometown newspaper here ran an article on this season’s tour ticket sales here. Last years tour sold out in 30 minutes, this year’s tour still has plenty of tickets available for this arena. Something was just missing this year for me, and a lot of others.
I also want to send out a Huge Thanks to Mj, LisaB, Nevada, Kirsten and all that have contributed info and news to this blog, MJ you ROCK!! I am so glad I discovered this site last year!!! I have made so many great friends here, and I am greatful for all of you, each and every one of you have added happiness to my life, and laughs and tears, that no one will ever be able to take away!!! THANK YOU!! I love ya all!!! I will definately keep lurkin and coming to chat to keep updated on my favorite blogger friends, and to keep you posted on my pregnancy status!!!

Taylor reported soreness at the scene. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center where he was treated and released.
Hicks was cited with failure to obey a traffic signal.

I dont get that. I read the article. One man involved had the last name Taylor and was in his 50s. The other man was in his 20s and named Murillo. The street was Hicks lol. I think the writer of this article got a little confused with the Taylor and Hicks connection. From the article, it was definitely not Taylor Hicks involved.
Sigh. The Daily Chat was a lot of fun. Sure, there were days when it all went South, but other days, it was a pure delight. I learned a lot. I laughed a lot. I made virtual friends. I gave support. I got support. It is the end of an era. All good and bad things must end. Thank you MJ for all you do.

Nevada, Kirsten, griz, and all of you who regularly post and share so much with us about the idols of this season and others, I hope that you will continue to share your info on some of the fan sites so that you can let us keep up with the idols from other seasons since we can’t do it here any longer. Thanks so much for all you’ve done here, and mj, thanks for letting us have this space for so long. I’m sure it was rough to handle at times, but you made Idol so much more fun.

I do love the way people are trying to squeeze in as much season 5 talk as they possibly can into this thread now that it’s been declared the last. Kinda proves why it had to be cancelled in the first place. I guess some people just can’t follow the rules no matter how many times they’re told them.
