Top 5 smash hits for both Bucky and Elliott. I love it. I wonder if these guys can both hit #1. It’s time for another hilarious joint appearance on Larry King Live.
Sorry jpfan, I hit the wrong key. Bucky is only at number 6, but he should be at number 5 soon (Big & Rich only have 175 spins on Bucky and they dropped 356 spins since last week while he is up 308).
But that is pretty darn impressive for both Elliott and Bucky. Go Elliott! Go Bucky!
Bucky will hit 5 and Elliott is heading for 4 as he’s just 100 plus spins behind Rihanna (Umbrella) and she’s dropping fast. I check E daily on the charts but Bucky snuck up on me. Go Bucky.
Wow!!! Chris’ “Home” is number 1 on both Hot Ac and AC on mediabase!!!!!
Also “It’s Not Over” has actually gone up on the Hot AC mediabase.
Wow, talk about staying power!
That’s terrific about Elliott!
Thanks for the chart info, Kirsten.
I’m a happy camper. Yay Elliott. Yay Bucky.
Elliott could have a #1 hit with WFY. Maybe Chris, Bucky and E could have #1 radio hits all at the same time. That would be cool. I love all three guys.
Go Elliott! Go Bucky! WOW!
Taylor’s HEAVEN KNOWS is actually at #19 on the Mediabase monitored charts today. It is #21 on the Published Chart.
Mandisa is also doing pretty good onher chart….Taylor doing is doing fine but I guess I would like it to do better and .The single just did not catch on maybe it might heh.
Bucky is doing great with his new single..on the counrty charts.
Top 40 songs seem go up and down when the new in sound comes in and some stay up there. It is impressive that “Daughtry” is up on the charts this long…Elliot is doing good the song is pleasent, nice to listen too and it does have a neo , usher vibe to it which is popular now. I call it the soft r&b luv song and I do enjoy it it is very calming.
Daughtry is selling fast pace and Elliot selling at a slower one and both are up on the medibase chart which I find intersting. I put it to thier difernt styles of music, who buys it or other misc items yes I notice this with other artists too…I do like to keep an open mind on singers down the road something might surprise me like Paul Potts singing opera which I enjoyed .(opera not my thing)
Thanks again Kristen and Lisa B for your work also Mj ..You all deserve a weekend payed for a spa .
I think they’re all doing pretty darn good. All of them do not have the exact same gifts or goals. Truth be known, probably the only hand-wringing is what happens here.
Elliott, for instance, is doing great with his single and while his sales aren’t huge, being indie gives him a huge cut so I’m sure he’s more than happy with his sales.
I’m just very happy for Elliott cause he was my fave and I never thought he’d be where he is now without a big label behind him. But if I ever get on anyone’s nerves posting stuff about him, please tell me to shut it. :)
Last year at this time…would anyone have predicted that Chris D. would have the #1 Adult Contemporary, #1 Hot Adult Contemporary, #3 Mainstream Rock, and #12 Hot Christian Contemporary track in the nation??
Lu, I don’t think you have to worry about annoying anyone— simply because I think Elliott is so loved by everyone. When someone is so lovable we have to be happy for them.
LU you never
I on the other hand just analize too much…So here it goes “shut up pop” …Yes it was silly but hey.
Lovable—I can not say that I just do not know him maybe a kitten or puppy..
Good going Elliott and Bucky. They’ve come so much further than most thought they would.
How high did Kellie’s Red High Heels get?
Lu, I don’t remember exactly how high Kellie took Red High Heels on the country chart; I think it’s peak was between #10 and #15, which is a respectable if not spectacular finish. I think I Wonder may finish in about the same range. Wherever she finishes, she is headed for stardom.
does anyone know the total amount My December sold worldwide? I think it is around 731,000, but Im not sure
Kellie’s I Wonder - That song gets me everytime… big lump in my throat. You can tell she feels every word of that song. It’s downright gut-wrenching and it would be sweet justice if she could win some kind of award for it.
I saw Kellie sing “I Wonder” on The View (no snickering). It was the first time that she had sung it for an audience. She had a hard time getting through it. You talk about a big lump in your throat..
I teared up on that peformance of “I Wonder” and I was watching on gofish, I think. It’s great to see an Idol sing with emotion and from the heart.
As for Daughtry, OMG! WOW! Such a shocker. ;-)
Picker’s performance of “I Wonder” on the View was absolutely amazing. I HATED her on American Idol, but that performance totally changed my opinion of her. It was riveting to say the least.
Re: Daughtry … Let be said that Daughtry can write a hit. His album is far from earth shattering, but it’s about three to four singles deep which is solid.
Re: Elliott … I remember last year after Idol when everyone said that Elliott was toast because he wasn’t “pretty to look at”. As a Yaminion, it was so darn depressing. Things have so changed in a year. I think it so amazing that he found what he was meant to do in life and is doing so well at it.
I wasn’t depressed about Elliott’s future because he said in an interview days after he was eliminated that he would be making a CD and described the type of CD that he wanted to make. He kept saying it in many interviews. I believed him. He said that he started working on “Movin’ On” before they went on the AI tour. Since he was recording, I figured that he knew more about what was going on than I did and I figured that the details were none of my business. I just trusted that he and his team knew what they were doing.
I’ve loved Elliott since Hollywood week. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. He was always beautiful to me.
I’m happy that his CD and single are doing so well. I always had faith in Elliott and didn’t let naysayers shake that faith.
I didn’t hate Kellie Pickler on American Idol, in fact I loved watching her on the show, but then I wasn’t some insecure Elliott fan watching Kellie dominate the show every week. Lucky for the others this show is bogus just like wrestling shows because if they went strictly by the votes there is no doubt in my mind that Kellie would have won.
As for Elliott, I’m not sure how well this “even a caveman can do it” new look is going to work out for him. After hearing him sing the National Anthem those pipes of his didn’t seem to pan out to all the hype given as far as I’m concerned. In fact Kellie pretty much mopped the floor with the whole bunch of them when it came to performing that song not that it surprised me. Seeing how so many of Elliott’s own fans weren’t impressed with his Cd in the reviews they gave over at Amazon doesn’t look very comforting. I’m glad Kellie was spared those kinds of reviews unlike Elliott and so many of the others. But then Kellie always was the one to give her fans what they truly want.
