From Ken Barnes at Idol Chatter, more data from the Season 6 American Idol tour:
- 8/17 Louisville: 33.8% (new low)
- 8/22 Pittsburgh: 81.2%
- 8/23 Rochester, N.Y.: 67.8%
- 8/24-25 Uniondale, N.Y.: 84.6% combined
- 8/27 Hartford: 79.8%
- 8/28-29: East Rutherford, N.J.: 86.0% combined
- 9/2: Syracuse, N.Y.: 52.9%
Kirsten reported on previous dates back in September. The new info brings up the capacity percentage a bit, from 63.3% to 65.6%. Dates from the rest of September, including more dates in NY, MA and DC have not been reported yet. Since the tour has traditionally done well in the Northeast (and many concert-goers report full arenas from those dates) I expect the percentage to go higher when all is finally said and done…

I was looking at the concert capacities for other “name” artists and the Idols did very well considering….the Police 95% and Beyonce 88%…remember the Idols are “unknowns”….so they should hang their heads high.
