Is American Idol Dallas hopeful, Todrick Hall a scammer? We’ve been discussing the controversy since the Idol hopeful’s audition aired Wednesday night.
A recap: Todrick wrote and directed a musical called “Oz the Musical” that he and some partners attempted to take on tour across the country. It was a big fat fail because they ran out of money, and the shady deal is that it appears their funding was coming from families who paid to have their kids be part of the production. Three thousand kids ponied up $50 and more for the privilege. Unfortunately, many of the shows were canceled, and the children affected were never reimbursed.
We don’t have any definitive answers yet, but Vote For the Worst has a long and detailed report on the controversy. Check it out HERE.
Let’s just say, things aren’t looking good for Todrick…
