According to Idol Forums the audition city episodes will be aired in the following order:
1. Minneapolis, Minnesota
2. East Rutherford, New Jersey
3. Memphis, Tennessee
4. Los Angeles, California
5. Birmingham, Alabama
6. San Antonio, Texas
7. Seattle, Washington
If this info is true, that means Minneapolis, MN will be featured in the premier next Tuesday. And I guess they are saving the worst (at least TPTB keep saying it’s worst) for last–Seattle, WA.

Is that how it’s been done? Or are you just being cheeky… I thought they showed the hideous stuff all along the way and also had some kind of special segment just to showcase the ‘extreme’ entertainment. I never watched all of the auditions closely…clue me in?
They do show the bad stuff all the way through.
But it is not uncommon to get only like 11 to 20 people picked to go to Hollywood from an entire city audition, and apparently Seattle is the one that had a small number of people picked to go to Hollywood. That’s what she is talking about.
How many nights each week do they usually broadcast auditions, and how many cities covered in a night?
They show really bad stuff all the way through. But in EVERY interview the judges and producers have done about this season, they never fail to bring up how super-horrible the talent was in Seattle.
Last year it was one city-one night. Some cities got two hours, others only got one.
The first two episodes next week will each be 2 hours long.
Call me crazy, but I CAN’T WAIT! I love this show!
So how many audition episodes do we have to suffer through before they get to the good stuff?
