Sounds like an ordinary D tune. Nothing that wowed meme off her office chair. I see a male perspctive vibe to this video.
Football? Really? That is the metaphor? Seems a bit far-fetched to me!
I couldn’t agree more, Bobbi. What the hell is he thinking? Let’s write a song about irresistible attraction and then put it to football footage so the guys will watch it? Just wow.
I do think it’s a terrific song though.
This isn’t a new video… it’s the complete version of the SEC football promo put together by Lincoln Financial Group. Portions of it were run during sponsored televised college games… it was put together for football promo.
Well, that’s a relief (I think). Is there another video for Crashed out there somewhere?
That makes a lot more sense, Carson! I still don’t like it but at least I can understand it now.
I don’t know but love that song. I also love the SEC, especially the TN Vols, so don’t mind the video.
Me too, bean :)
Anyway, I’m not big on videos period, so I care little about the video. I do love the song though. It’s probably my favorite song on the album.
However, I do want to know why they are releasing “Feels Like Tonight” as the next single on pop radio (Ick! Cough! Puke!) and not this song. “Crashed” could work on pop radio too, I think.
Yeah, this really isn’t an “official” video my no means. It was just used to start ACC and SEC football games this past season.
I am surprised it’s not being pushed as a mainstream single though. It’s very crossover worthy.
I guess I’m the only one who turned it off when they saw the tattoo. Heh. Maybe I would have watched if he had gotten Brett Favre in the video.
Hi guys…
I just deleted a post
Let’s stick to talking about Daughtry and leave the other Idols out of it. Thanks.
I was a little confused that there was suddenly a video for a song that’s been on the charts for weeks. Thanks for clearing that up.
Can’t watch the video, but I do like this song. :)
What!? This isn’t a new video at all. I saw it at the beginning of the football season, which was.. um.. 4 months ago. I doubted it was an official video release, and it was only used as the opening theme of SEC football games. The video itself was very professionally done and quite, surprisingly, a fit for football..heh…
I love my Tide, but the vid doesn’t do much for me. I have to agree with Cheese, too. That tat is icky. Talk about branding! I think he would have done just as well without it, so I have to wonder… why?
Again, keep this post focused on Daughtry. That’s what it’s about.
If you have a beef about how I run my blog, send me an email.
Yeah, this was just a promo put of the SEC football. There won’t be an official video for Crashed unless they release it as mainstream single somewhere down the line, because right now it was only released to rock radio. Feels Like Tonight is supposed to be the next main single, so that will be the next official video form them.
I don’t understand why they would pick Crashed over Feels like Tonight for the next single. It’s always been my favorite of all of the songs.
