   The rumor is…Franklin Bridge is going home…

   Wow and double wow. I will say, though, that I think their attitude might have been the turn-off to the dozen or so people who vote on this show. That air of entitlement.

   I personally think that is what might have gotten Chris D. eliminated from Idol and probably Tamyra and Constantine, too. I definitely think so with Tamyra. Even if you know you are “all that” you need to keep that from showing.

   OK, I need to shut up and watch the show tomorrow.

   Ha! I knew this was coming. And I thought it would be Franklin Bridge too.

   IDOL STYLE, BABY!

   (before I pride myself with my foresight, maybe I should see what actually happens…lol)

   Yep- All the bands are there for a reason! Extreme talent. Someone has to go…. I vote for Denver and The Mile High Orchestra to go all the way!!. They have a fresh UNIQUE sound. And are very talented! GO DENVER WOO HOO!!!!

   Well, if that is true….

   There is a smugness about FB, which is made even more apparent when commented on by the judges. I didn’t like the “the ladies loved it” comment by the FB lead singer, either. Have these guys never seen reality TV before? Generally, we love our reality TV contestants gracious and humble. We hate smug, cuz in the “reality” biz, the contestants are, in a sense, us. And if you are smug on a reality show, you are basically saying to each and every viewer that “I am better than you.” And I did get that vibe from FB.

   I was thinking that CW&#7 were going to be history, because I thought they were a bit dull this week. That’s another rule for reality TV: Don’t be dull!

   You know, Sixwire might be hormone replacement for elderly housewifes, but at least they respect the music. Hence the problem with Franklin Bridge — they have never met a rift they didn’t want to “funk up”….

   Uh, that’s hormone replacement therapy for MIDDLE AGED women - not elderly housewives, t2. Don’t make me older than I am! (LOL)

   Lieber and Stoller (sp?). Hound Dog, Jailshouse Rock, Yackity Yack, Poison Ivy etc.

   ETA: This should be a good theme for Tres Bien!

    I was surfing around and I found Denver of the Mile High Orchestra’s wife’s blog

    OMG, their little boy is named Boston. LOL.

    I’ve heard the orchestra described as a “Christian Big Band”…whatever that means.

    ETA: There are pictures of their little baby. Very sweet baby…

    It’s about time they had a “shocking” boot. I’ll be glad if my faves Tres Bien! are still in it. I’m also starting to like the bluegrass band Cliff Wagner and the Old #7 because of their dry humor & creative arrangements. I appreciate their subtlety too which is very rare on this show (or any other reality show).
    And thanks to MJ for the Tres Bien! website. I’ll have to download their demo & album songs & see how they are.
