For those of you following the Perez Hilton saga..from Huffington Post:
A new front has opened in the battle between Perez Hilton and the Black Eyed Peas manager accused of hitting him: a civil lawsuit.
The celebrity blogger, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, sued the Peas’ manager in Los Angeles on Wednesday for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He is seeking unspecified damages of more than $25,000.
The suit states Hilton is seeking to protect his rights to free speech and claims Polo Molina attacked him because he made critical comments about the Black Eyed Peas’ new album.
Perez posted a new statement yesterday, reacting to GLAAD’s demand for an apology after he called the BEP’s will.i.am a f*ggot.
Perez isn’t getting much sympathy from the public or the celebrities he covers. Additional ploys for sympathy and attention are not going to improve that sitch.
He needs to go back to drawing penises on celebrity photos, like STAT.

At this point, with the latest “apology,” I think Perez simply is doing the best he can. He seems to be working through it a little. Maybe slowly but surely he’ll get there. Or maybe he’s too emotionally stunted and limited to ever see this incident for what it is — something he caused, provoked, and ultimately encouraged in his own special way…
What he is right now is an attorney’s nightmare. Twittering your every thought, after filming a video rant, er, statement?! LOL Good luck with that lawsuit, Perez. :rolleyes_tb: :thumbdown_tb:
