And I think it gives out really positive vibes on how to keep kids occupied and doing something fun and constructive. I would think it is an honor for these kids to be selected to participate, and an aspiration for many. She could care less about idol and only watches with me, this show however, she DVR's religiously. I watch with her some times. They are not as slick as SYTYCD but they are fun to watch.
