Ryan did say that it was the “biggest top 7 vote in Idol history”. MJ, I took that as a personal shout-out to you and your stats showing voting has been down this year. LOL. Okay, probably not, but I thought it was an interesting way to phrase it.
I have a hard time believing that the ratings are down but voting is up. I realize that my own personal experience/anecdotal evidence does not a fact make, but I haven’t picked up the phone to vote once this year–last year was the only year I did so.
I’m voting way more than I did last season mostly because of my favorite only placing 4th. I now vote for Blake the whole 2 hrs and never split votes unlike last season when I assumed Chris was safe.
I haven’t voted at all this season, but will this coming week. I like the idea of causing various members of corporate America to cough up some cash. That’s my motivation though so I won’t be voting after this week. Wonder if there will be a drop after this week?
