Very true; but a bar/club couldn’t care less about that when it comes to letting a minor in. As for the other kinds of potential chaperones you mentioned, I doubt that a club would accept a gang of older friends (i.e. the Idols) as chaperones, but I wouldn’t be surprised if a bodyguard/assistant would suffice. I also wouldn’t be surprised if some places would insist on a parent.

But an interesting side note, all of her family is extensive, love Adam, but found Kris to be the better musician – their all musical. My last day we spent in London and went to see Priscilla Queen of the Desert on stage. It made my heart warm because it is one of my favorite movies adapted for the stage. What touched my heart was the audience – all ages getting into it from 10 to 80 years of age. Straight men were wearing pink and purple boas and had no qualms about their masculinity. The actors received a standing ovation. Fabulous show. But also Soho is very eclectic. I got to see first hand the lack of homphobia and how everybody just fit in- it was fabulous. Adam even said how much he enjoys Europe.

I think Adamà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s tweet to lay off the gossip is only to do the right thing. I do not believe that the two are good friends. I think they have a good working relationship, and thatà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s all.

Is it really necessary to analyze exactly how “good” their friendship is? It seems such a pointless exercise to dwell on the issue. I think this only leads to fan wars that end up hurting one’s favourite Idol.

So, if Allisonà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s mom or dad accompanied her, Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢d bet she wouldnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t have a problem.

Pure speculation on my part…but since it seems like the Idols are all staying at the same place, (hotel, extended stay suites) and it was pretty late when they went out…I would say Allison is probably being chaperoned by her idol friends, not her parents.

Besides, Lil and Megan are there (both who are parents) as well as all her “very protective older brothers”. And I bet that the idol group has some staffers that hang out with them, too.

Couple of notes: Based on Matt’s new haircut pic, it looks like he has had the opportunity to take care of his mole. Probably why he has been wearing a hat so much…to cover the band-aid while it was healing.

It looks like all of the idols are real close and they seem to be a huggy group. Good for them!

Scott is 24 going on 50. I just think his personality just doesn’t lend itself to a lot of group interaction. Speaking of Scott, has anyone heard if his little sister has had her surgery yet. I do hope everything is going good for her.

I continually get a good laugh when fan groups are worrying themselves about songs and how many at the tour concert. Next thing you know there will be posts (after the youtube tour videos are released) arguing because one idol got to sing for 30 seconds longer than another even if they had equal songs. So many fans seem to take this kind of stuff so personally and they interject their own feelings onto the idols. Me…I’m just going to enjoy what I get since I feel like the “competition” is over and my three favs all got contracts which is the purpose of idol anyway.

I for one am very excited for the tour. It should be a great show. I would love for the fans to just enjoy the ride along with the Idols and quit the nastiness but knowing Idol fans that will never happen.

I hope the tweets put the whole Danny/Adam thing to rest. Theyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢re both strong personalities who tend to be honest. So I believe them and if theyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢re lying, well obivously they want to end the negativity. So I say end it.

The tour should be a fun time and is usually a real family event. Ità ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s the last hurrah for most of them so I say let them enjoy it.

I happen to believe that they are friends. After rewatching the season and scrutinizing body language, I saw warmth and friendliness between them both. I don’t think they are as close as Adam and Kris. These two were roommates, just as Anoop and Danny were…and Anoop has stated his closeness to Danny.

I also think Adam had been too busy to know the scope of what was going on or he would have tweeted earlier. Adam has said that he doesn’t lie. I wish people should take him at his word and accept that the two are friends.

girlygirl: I was thinking à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’  if the Idols go to some cool club to celebrate Krisà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ birthday, will they let Allison in? Sheà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s the only one in the group thatà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s underage, right? I know clubs bend the rules for the more famous people, but I donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t know if an AI contestant would have enough cred to get into a club.

I take my two under-age kids to clubs sometimes to see bands they/we are interested in. The clubs don’t have any problem with it because I’m accompanying them. One place puts color-coded wristbands on everyone to identify which side of 21 they’re on. My daughter and I are actually hoping that Allison will stop there on a solo tour next year!

So, if Allison’s mom or dad accompanied her, I’d bet she wouldn’t have a problem.

Of Syesha’s three songs, only one had been done on the show previously (“Listen” and “Umbrella” were new).

Of Archie’s four songs, three songs had been done previously on the show (à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“When You Say You Love Meà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  was new), but “Apologize” was not done in competition (just the final show as a duet with Ryan Tedder).

Of Cook’s five songs, four songs had been done previously on the show (à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“My Heroà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬ ) was new (although, “Time of My Life” was only sung on the results show too. Never in competition).

So, it seems they do at least one new song, sometimes more.

I hope not. That song is becoming done to death on Idol and should be retired for a while . Plus, I think it would be a shade rude for the Idol Winner to do a reprise of a song that was famously biffed by another contestant on the show. Also, hard rocking doesn’t seem to be Kris’s style. Finally, Kris would have to re-arrange that puppy like crazy because he’s not hitting the “Dream On” final note/scream either.

Actually the song is kind of cursed if you think about it. It is the song that got Michael Johns booted from the show and it probably is the reason (delayed reaction a week) that Gokey got booted too. More reason to retire it.

Maybe it’s something from the Beatles (Beatles were famous for getting people to scream for them. Maybe “A Hard Day’s Night”? Since the movie featured all those screaming/chasing fans?). IDK. It’s just a WAG.

Maybe Adam was not aware of the nasty comments that Danny received after the cousin’s facebook incident until he got to the party – hence the delay in responding. It was the nice/right thing to do, me thinks.

I have posted this elsewhere but didn’t use the word travesty; however, that is the truth. I blame this all on Simon when he asked the viewers to vote for Michael. Chickeze did such a great job with getting the show off to a terrific start last year. Wonder what Sarver will sing?

The video Kris is asking about is one some posters over on Idol Forums started where they each took a word from the lyrics of à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“No Boundariesà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬  and submitted their photos to represent the word (I think)
