A couple of late-breaking items: Jordin Sparks sits for an interview with The Arizona Republic.
I don’t think I’ve resisted anything yet because I’m not really sure how (my album) is going to sound . . . I’m still very open to everything. Hopefully this next week I’ll have (album) songs to listen to. I definitely want it to be radio friendly, like top 40 kind of stuff.
I definitely haven’t been approached to be any type of sex symbol or anything, but I think if I was asked I would have to resist. I wouldn’t feel comfortable exposing my midriff. However, at the same time, I do want to be cute.
And, Melinda Doolittle will be travelling to Africa with Laura Bush for her Malaria No More initiative. Melinda talks about it at the end of this interview with LA Today. I hear she’ll be singing with the African Children’s Choir.

I don’t know if I would be willing to believe anything that comes off Chris Sligh’s blog. Chris likes to mess with your mind too much to be a really reliable source on any subject.
Does anyone know how ticket sales are going for the tour. As usual, there are rumors of anything from soldout venues to partially filled ones.
BTW, Sanjaya seems to be getting a lot of attention from the media as the tour approaches; none of it bad, believe it or no.

Sure agree with angelia’s post. Melinda and Laura Bush are LADIES. I’m not sure what it is about Sligh. Seems a little, umm, sneaky for my taste.
I’m looking forward to Jordin’s cd. Wish the Season 6 tour was coming closer to my home. Don’t think I’ll make it this year.
