If anything, I think if David A was in the btm 2, then the producers would have put him there to rile up his fan base because its getting to be that time.

Here’s a thought. Perhaps they DIDN’T announce him as a bottom 2 dweller because they DIDN’T want to rile up a fanbase (which, as someone else said, has people dropping like flies) because they no longer want him to win.

Honestly, he has so little buzz and momentum, I don’t think it would really matter too much if he hit bottom 2. Most people I talk to just have no interest in him whatsoever.

My guess is that Nigel is in full-on panic mode that he may not be able to deliver the David vs David finale that all of the press is expecting. And all of the manipulations weà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢re seeing – and will see next week – are a result of that panic.

Methinks Spense is right. Want him in the finale, but don’t want the voting to seem one sided, so how to handle this? Pimping of said contestant, throwing other contestants under the bus. ArchuD2 will get the pimp spot and multiple tonguebaths next week. Just watch.

Oh and I believe that Simon kinda started the depimping a bit this week – calling his first performance “amateurish” (I would have preferred “bad karaoke”, but whatever.).

Yep. Interestingly, on IDF yesterday, there was a Dial Idol vs Zabaseach discussion, and JoesPlace (the reputable AI spoiler source) posted this: “Dialidol means more that Zaba. Also AI hit DI with a notice to have the site shut down last week. DI had their lawyers working on it all last week. They wouldnt go through the trouble if it wasnt on point.”

Makes you wonder.

However, the editors sure do a great job turning a sober kid into a (probably ADD kidà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬’who always magically seems to never have blood-shot eyes) stoner with a lot of editing and no starbucks.

Most people that I know that are “stoners” don’t have bloodshot eyes (visine) and don’t act like airheads, either. In fact, they are pretty normal people w/ everyday careers. I hate that Jason is portrayed as a “stoner” regardless. What, someone acts a bit goofy and has long hair? Well, they most definetely are smoking pot then…ridiculous.

That’s a good point too. But, I think I need to see some David A depimping from the judges to believe that Nigel wants to cast him aside.

I actually also have no problem believing that Syesha was in the bottom 2, whether or not Ryan declared it as such or not. I don’t read DI – because in the age of texting – I just can’t believe busy signals are the way to tell anything anymore. And, I find Syesha to be the most uninteresting character they’ve had on this show in several seasons. So, while I believe that Simon’s harshness to her at the end of the show, along with the pimp spot was definitely enough for her to edge out Brooke – in no way could I be convinced she was first in the voting.

But who knows maybe they want a shocking boot for F4. Although a Top 3 with Cook, Syesha and Jason would be kind of weird.

If Ryan is reading these “blogs” on the Internet then he is reading places like VFTW and he knows who they are supporting next. He knows who is popular and whose not it’s just odd to me the whole thing. I don’t know. Maybe they are sick of Jeff Archuleta too. I know I would be.

If it was Archie with 2nd lowest votes, and TPTB hid it, it means they are no longer backing him to win.

If it was Jason, they want him gone as well, by calming down his fans so they don’t vote quite so hard next week to stick it to the show.

Syesha was the only person left to put in Bottom with Brooke, but she might get a nice bonus if *her* fans out there rally to keep her in next week. She’s on an upward arc lately…but so was KLC, so it’s hard to say what will happen with Syesha.

I think if Uncle Nigel wants a David vs David finale and one of them isn’t keeping up the voting block he’d have them hitting the to put the fear into their fans and keep them voting. A David vs David finale leaves it up in the air that they may have to find a way to market Disney versus marketing ‘rock’, which seems to be easier. The best way to have a gauranteed winner is to knock out the competition by not acknowledging that someone many consider ’safe’ isn’t so safe and having a shocking boot.
