- Carly Smithson - “Without You” - Blue dress, black stockings, cleavage. Her tats are covered. She was good.
- Syesha Mercado - “Vanishing” - Wearing gold lame, very dressed up. Her performance was “Just OK”
- Brooke White - “Hero” - She played the piano. She was just OK.
- Kristy Lee Cook - “Forever” - Really good. Looked beautiful. Maybe the best girl of the night.
- David Cook - “Always Be My Baby” - Pretty good. Song had a great finish. Everyone loved him.
- Jason Castro - “I Don’t Wanna Cry” - Was OK. Had trouble with the complicated melody.

Being one of the only KLC fans here, I hope Caffiend and Simon hear it the same way. Jason, even if he is one of the “OK’s”, will have more fans voting than Syesha. Go Jason! “You can work it out!” IDK. I think Simon likes Syesha better than KLC, so he might be pimping Syesha, even if KLC gives a stronger performance.
I would love Jason to make top four (three sucks b/c you get the shaft on the post-boot press). He could have fun on tour without the pressure of releasing an album right away. Then, he could sign some indie deal and make me happy with his music.

Hi, everyone! Just back to my computer after rehearsal.
Gotta say that Kristy was probably my favorite vocal of the night after Little David.
The girls who let me in with them thought Kristy was the best performance of the night. They thought Jason was the weakest. I agree. Syesha was OK vocally but I don’t think most people will know the song. And Brooke’s lack of vocal range really stood out on Mariah night.
And Carly looked very pretty tonight.
I told MJ that I think Nigel put DA in the death spot to prove it’s not the death spot. No risk of that guy going home, so it doesn’t prove anything. Like MJ said, he could not show up and still be in the Top 3.

LOL. I actually called David A going first earlier today and Jason going last a few days ago.
It makes kind of warped sense. David A had to go first sooner or later. Tonight he has a song that’s in his wheelhouse so going first won’t hurt him. He gets going first out of the way so he can legitimately not be first for a while (or perhaps ever again) and people will have to stop using this evidence that he is favoured. They’ll have to start griping about the other two who have never gone first…Jason and David C.
Jason going last makes sense this week. He’ll have trouble gaining value from it (this theme is not in his wheelhouse) and it may harm him. People may say that he only survived this week because he had the pimp spot. It’s like Nigel is using the damn pimp spot to turn some people into villians this year. Then, next week, Nigel will have Jason go first because “that’s fair”. He went last this week and he’s never been first before. ALW is unlikely to be in Jason’s wheelhouse either. A few passes over with the bus, and out he goes.
In any event, Jason should be safe this week. His fans can start worrying manipulation and buses next week.

I have watched AI since it first began and loved the cheesy show but this is the first year that I have actually looked someone up or made a few million comments on someone.
