Site Outage

ETAA:  I’m postponing the move for now.  I might attempt it next weekend.  I’m going to try some other things to get the site running a little quicker.  Thanks for your patience!

ETA: I’m feeling really good about the upgrade. Lots of testing and advance prep work means that the outage will probably be less than an hour.

The site will be going down tonight at midnight ET for a server move. The site should be back in 2 hours. I expect everything to be back up and working by 6 am.

Thanks in advance for your patience. The current virtual server hosting the site has been blowing up on show nights. The new set-up should be able to handle all the traffic.

    Yay MJ! I’d saved a direct link to chat for show nights, just in case I couldn’t get to the site because of all the traffic.

    Thanks so much for the warning, MJ! I would have freaked if I signed on tomorrow morning at my usual time of 5 a.m. and your site was gone. So glad you’re upgrading! Thanks for that too!

    MJ- Good Luck and thanks for the upgrade. This site is like crack and if I don’t get my daily ( ahem…hourly) dosage, I get cranky. :)

    Thanks for all you do MJ!! You are the only place I need to visit to know all there is to know about AI!! Your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated. If only TPTB would add you to their payroll!! Well, no we don’t want them controlling our favorite place, but you do a lot for the show!!

    I realized the upgrade might take too long, so I’m postponing it for now. I might try it next weekend.

    I didn’t want to risk the site not being up for monday morning.
