So You Think You Can Dance - Congrats to Week 3 Pool Leaders!

Couples are split apart for the first time as Chelsea T and Chris are sent home this week on So You Think You Can Dance. That’s where I went wrong! I chose Comfort and Chris for elimination. Four pool players, however, chose correctly and got perfect scores.

Perfect scores this week!

This HAWTness is for me. But since I’m nice, I guess you can look at it too, KrazeeK120 ;)

Yes, primeminister — HAWT is the word of the day. But you need to share with me too please.

I went back and watched Mia’s opening number from eliminations the other night — and HAWT truly rules the stage. Literally. I didn’t catch who was who immediately. But when I went back and watched again (and again and again) it became so clear to me that Mark was front and center, and the dominate dude in the piece. Actually, that very first shot of them in the shadows with Mark in the front — I’d recognize those ears anywhere. I guess Mia’s changed her mind about “thinking he was better than he is”.

And the pool? Let’s just say I was thrilled to get 12 points this week. Go me.

Yay us! This is what’s called going with your gut. LOL. I like seeing my name up there as a weekly leader. Hee!

PM, that’s a nice HAWT pic. And wfo, I recognized that in the dance too. I think after a zillion rewinds to specific parts, I recognized who was who, but Mark sure did get a lot of camera time. :)

Awwww, PM, thanks for letting me look at your picture of HAWT.

I’ve gotten 5 of the 6 eliminees correct so far (picked Susie in week 1 instead of Rayven). Be assured, my luck will run out at some point.

Please let your luck run out the week Matt is eliminated. I’ll feel better that way if less people have him as their pick. lol

I chose like MJ, so only eeked out 10 points this week. I am hating it after next week, I figure Thayne and Comfort are toast. Then I don’t want anyone to go home!!! Just stop the show there and let me watch 6 more weeks of all of them.

A question, do they keep eliminating couples, as in boy girl, up to the end until it is one couple that needs to “dance off” ?

A question, do they keep eliminating couples, as in boy girl, up to the end until it is one couple that needs to “dance off” ?

    The show works like this:

For the first 5 weeks, people are partnered with each other, and they stay with those partners for those first five weeks. For those first five weeks as you’ve seen, every week, the 3 couples with the lowest vote totals are in the Bottom 3. These six people then dance solos in an attempt to save themselves; the girl and boy who sucked the most (for lack of any better, nicer description) are sent home by the judges. If two people from different couples are sent home, their respective partners then form a new couple for the next round of dances.

Then for the remainder of the competition, the permanent partnerships dissolve and each week, partners are picked out of a hat (so it’s still entirely possible to end up with the same partner every week, although that’s never actually happened). For this round of the competition, the judges no longer have ANY say in who is eliminated. Voters now vote for their favorite individual dancer and the boy and girl with the lowest amount of votes are sent home each week. The finale consists of four final people, when you have a boy/boy, girl/girl, and four boy/girl dances. The individual with the most number of votes then becomes America’s favorite dancer. And…yeah.

Thank you for that Hisaki. Ohhhh I don’t think it is going to be any easier when they are mixed up to decide who is to go as I think they are all great!

Altho I’d like to see little Mark try to lift Kourtni!
