So You Think You Can Dance - Top 10 Performance - Recap

Tonight’s Guest Judge is Lil C

Only Courtney, Kherington, Katee and Chelsie are in the show’s introductions. After, Cat Deely introduces Jessica King to explain why she’s not on the show. She had a pain in her side and found out that she fractured 1 rib and broke 2. The doctor told her she couldn’t dance if she wanted to heal for the tour. Cat says it was decided that the fairest thing was to bring back the last girl cut, Comfort Fedoke. And the show continues as usual… - VIDEO

The pause in the music was not the way David performed it on Idol. Apparently, they had to edit the music to make it fit the time allowed for this piece, and they cut some out. I think it was a poor editing job, but it is not the first poor editing job we have seen on SYTYCD, at least in my opinion. I don’t know who is responsible for cutting the music down to the length necessary…but I would imagine that the choreographers at least have a lot to do with it, because they are the ones who choose the music they want to choreograph to.

I’m about 80% confident that Comfort will be gone….again.

For the boys, actually, the only one I think that FOR SURE is safe is Joshua. I can think of reasons for any of the other 4 to go. I have my points on my favorite right now (Mark!) and it pains me…I may switch to Gev by the time the show comes on, although I don’t want him to go either.

I voted for Gev, Courtney, Chelsie, Mark, and Joshua. I love this show wayyyyy too much!

  3. 53 KristiVA Jul 17th, 2008 at 9:49 am

KrazeeK120 - I voted the exact same way! I’m hopeful that Will is at the bottom this week. I think he a great dancer but I don’t think he is America’s favorite by any means. DialIdol also has him on the bottom.

  4. 54 ealbino Jul 17th, 2008 at 9:53 am

Dialidol has Twitch and Comfort as the bottom this morning. Will went up to 2nd place for the men. Katee is tops overall.

  5. 55 rher Jul 17th, 2008 at 9:57 am

erinnth - I agree with so much of your post. ditto on Katee smiling, although I think that she is the one who could win it all. I also agree that the jazz dance wasn’t all that. The Neil Sabra dance (was it Sabra) around the office table was tons better, and this boat dance seemed to follow a similar format.

I don’t know why the judges keep giving passes to Comfort. If Gev did half as bad as Comfort did on the waltz, he would have been beaten about the head and shoulders with criticisms. She looked awful, as usual. Bad posture, bad extensions, no toe pointing. Mia called her out a couple weeks ago on lack of technique; it is brutally noticeable.

The incestual relationship between Idol and SYTYCD reared its ugly head last night. So much good music out there - and we get Imagine?

  6. 56 Suzanne Jul 17th, 2008 at 10:13 am

Apparently, the choreographer wanted that version of Imagine, not the show.

MJ’s summary at the top misspells Archuleta. Forgetting so soon, MJ?

  7. 57 ealbino Jul 17th, 2008 at 10:17 am

This is what the famous renowned Desmond Richardson had to say about the song selection [so no, Nigel had no involvement in the matter ;) ] …

David, the young one American Idol sang a version of Imagine that gave me chills and inspired me to create a dance for the show(SYTYCD). It was so pure and magical.

Thanks idolfan86. Yayyyyyyy that of all the songs out there - David’s Imagine inspired him! :clap_tb:

I’m I the only one who does not understand the second bonus question in the pool ?

  9. 59 Joanna Jul 17th, 2008 at 10:20 am

“I was on the phone for the first half of the show so I missed much of the package clip and the judging - what was it Chelsie said about Courtney in the package clip when she was laying on the floor with Gev on top of her?”

She said something along the lines of first Gev got to grab Courtney’s butt, now he gets to lay on top of Chelsie, and he’s enjoying it too much. I think she might be giving herself a little too much credit. She’s a great dancer, but she’s no Courtney IMO.

While Will is surely the best technical dancer, I just don’t care about him at all. He doesn’t move me, and there’s no charisma. If SYTYCD was about finding America’s best dancer, I would be forced to admit that he should win, but Cat reminds us every week that it’s about finding “America’s favorite dancer.” Will is 5th on my list of favorite guys.

MJ’s summary at the top misspells Archuleta. Forgetting so soon, MJ?

In the 3 or 4 posts I put up this week about Archie, I do believe I spelled his name right there. So, no I haven’t forgotten. But, thanks for the correction. I hate typos.

  11. 61 ealbino Jul 17th, 2008 at 10:27 am

While Will is surely the best technical dancer, I just don’t care about him at all. He doesn’t move me, and there’s no charisma

    My feelings exactly Joanna!

I would love to see Joshua/Katee and Gev/Courtney Final Four but I’m sure somehow that Will and Chelsie will get there.

  12. 62 wfowfowfo Jul 17th, 2008 at 10:33 am

Went looking for something to cheer me up rewatching last night’s show — and, well I have to say that Mark’s got one nice butt in those cowboy jeans! I felt like he tried like hell to sell it, and true to his-abilities, he had a great cowboyish stance/characterization with hat and all — but, sheesh, fucking two-step? WTF?

I still love him and want him around for a few more weeks. Hopefully, his fanbase came through for him last night — while the the idiot PTB seem done with him. I know I voted like crazy.

Otherwise? I liked Joshua way more last night than I have in the past. I feel like he showed some spunk when talking with Cat at the end of one of their performances — about Will and Twitch being shirtless. I’m sure he’s got his own 6-pack he’s wishing to show. I really enjoy Will shirtless — but it’s a little bit much every week. Courtney was very cute as the frankenstein monster.

And, Gev impressed me too —

I’d hate to see Mark or Gev go tonight. I just couldn’t put my points on either of them. So I left them on Will — even though I doubt he’ll be going. I might switch them to Twitch — I’m still thinking on it.

Didn’t like them using DA’s song. Weird glitch in the middle where they spliced the clip — just not good. I’m old and remember the original version so well — I didn’t like that he messed with it, running up and down the scales… not necessary.

One more thing - was Kherrington perhaps injured as well? She seemed to be moving in slow motion last night.

When I watched Will dance his solo, I was thinking that he should already be a professional dancer. He needs to work on projecting the mood of the song to the audience. He did that a bit, because of being forced to act, in the jazz number, but I could see Mark from this year and some of the boys from last year (Neil or even Danny) working the character. I thought it was a little bit overly spastic in some parts and then boring in others.

I loved when Jean Marc was teaching the jive to Gev! I don’t think that Gev is going home this week. It will be Twitch or Mark.

  15. 65 motherofautumn Jul 17th, 2008 at 10:44 am

I’ve never looked at DialIdol before, and I don’t understand how to interpret their predictions — since Will is at the bottom of the list of guys, does that mean he’s the lowest vote-getter per the site’s predictions? Or do I have to download the program in order to read the predictions?

  16. 66 ealbino Jul 17th, 2008 at 10:50 am

motherofautumn… there are 3 ways to look at dialidol data. You can get their score, raw data or busy percentage.

I looked at the “raw data” that shows the actual votes that came in and that’s were Twitch and Comfort were last. Their score is determined by calculating data and busy percentages I believe.

  17. 67 rockchalk Jul 17th, 2008 at 11:02 am

Thanks for all the videos MJ. I am such a huge fan of Will and Twitch at this point. Twitch has the awesome personality and some quirk, and Will is just beautiful to watch pimped or not. Plus, he seems like a good guy. I don’t really feel all that attached to any of the girls at this point…any of them could go, and I wouldn’t really care (though I do think Comfort should probably go based on ability). However, I will say that Katee has really started to grow on me and I loved the Will/Katee partnership. They are so gorgeous to watch. Not a big fan of that version of Imagine, but that routine was pretty awesome. As far as the guys go, I could honestly lose Gev or Mark at this point and not really miss them. Kherington and Mark were kind of a mess together IMO, and I wasn’t as impressed with Joshua without Katee but I still really like him. This is shaping up to be a pretty decent season so far.

ETA: Lil C was a pretty awesome judge last night. He was actually helpful with his comments and I didn’t want to strangle him by the end (I am looking at you Mia).

I’ve been searching everywhere for an attribution for this quote, and have yet to find it on any board. I’ll second the request for a link if anyone has it. I had no problems with Archuleta’s ‘Imagine’ being used for the pas de deux since cross-promotion like that is beneficial to both shows, but I’d be very surprised if that decision was not infulenced in some way by TPTB. There are just too many other great versions of that song that wouldn’t require choppy editing or the removal of audience and ambient noise (like say, the original John Lennon version?). I’m starting to wonder if this quote from Richardson isn’t a bit of manufactured fanwanking to keep people off the knoll.

  20. 70 jenniewdc Jul 17th, 2008 at 11:33 am

About ealbino’s answer to motherofautumn’s question — Where do I find the “raw data” on Dial Idol for SYTYCD?

Thanks in advance, if someone could reply.

  21. 71 Joanna Jul 17th, 2008 at 11:37 am

“I’ve never looked at DialIdol before, and I don’t understand how to interpret their predictions — since Will is at the bottom of the list of guys, does that mean he’s the lowest vote-getter per the site’s predictions?”

Dialidol is a pretty good tool for American Idol, but not for a smaller show like SYTYCD. I don’t think the sample of people voting with Dialidol is big enough to accurately predict the results. Also, the thing that makes DI work for AI is that so many people are voting that the busy signal is pretty prevalant. Not many people vote for SYTYCD, so there isn’t much of a busy signal to measure. When I do look at DI, I look at the busy percentages, but I don’t put much faith into them. I don’t think the raw numbers are representative. They just show how many votes were cast by people who used DI’s technology to vote, whereas the busy signal tries to take into account who is getting the most votes overall. If Will is at the bottom of their list, then to DI, it appears that he has the lowest number of votes. However, if you look at the numbers for all the other guys, they are too close to take any kind of margin of error into account. Comfort’s numbers are in red, which means according to the information they collected, DI feels that she is so far behind in the numbers that they can safely predict that she will be voted off (again).

  22. 72 ealbino Jul 17th, 2008 at 12:02 pm

jenniewdc - there is a column on dialidol under SYTYCD that says STAT…it has a dropdown menu - You can then choose what you want to see dialidol score, raw numbers or busy percentages.

  23. 73 ianamy Jul 17th, 2008 at 12:05 pm

I think that quote is manufactured. Dancing to “imagine” is so obviously Nigel’s idea. There are a lot of songs out there that could fit the dance. Nigel talked about David in his judging but it is edited out because of the time constraints.

  24. 74 sumidol Jul 17th, 2008 at 12:21 pm

Ladymadonna - I too went searching for that quote and cannot find it. Someone also said that Davids version of the song MADE the dance what it was. I disagree, the beautiful simplicity of Lennons version should have been the version they used for this dance. The constant clapping, the stop and start in the middle and the gratuituous runs throughout take away from Lennons message and the portrayal of that message with the dance itself. Davids version is lovely but better suited for a different stage I think. It did what it was meant to do though. It stirred up more promotion for David and SYTYCD, I noticed people posting on here that never have before just because Davids song was used so, of course, it was a good move if you think of it from a promotional stand point.

  25. 75 bigepaz Jul 17th, 2008 at 12:29 pm

Hey MJ - Archie mentioned Katie and Will’s dance in his latest blog. He said he felt “Like honored lol”. He’s so funny!

  26. 76 elle Jul 17th, 2008 at 12:36 pm

Honestly, manufacturing quotes?? Why is it so hard to believe that the choreographer liked it, just like most of the rest of the world, and wanted to use it? I am diehard Archie, and am happy for him that they used it, but I wasn’t crazy about the combo of the dance and music with the edit they did. Wierd.

Also, I was waiting for Nigel to say something about David since his comments about peaking too early were so appropriate to “Imagine.” I believe someone posted that there was an edit? How do we know that? Just wondering.

  27. 77 sumidol Jul 17th, 2008 at 12:47 pm

Elle you are probably right there, why wouldnt he like Davids version, but we all know the manipulations done on these shows so it just makes one curious. It was weird, the editing of the song that is for sure.

  28. 78 kerfuffle Jul 17th, 2008 at 12:49 pm

I’m torn about whether I should change my pool pick. I’m keeping Comfort for the girls, but I currently have Twitch for the guys. I’m so thinking it could be a “shocking” elimination this week, with Will going home. While I agree with most everyone here that he is the most technically gifted and talented of the dancers, he doesn’t seem to connect with the public at large - though maybe that’s a misconception on my part since he doesn’t connect with me. I love watching him dance, but don’t feel I really “know” him as a person, I guess. Since this is all based on votes, I’m thinking that all of the other guys have larger, or more devoted (read: fanatical) fan bases.

Last night, for instance, I think Mark and Kherington were the weakest links. But I voted for both of them (as well as Gev and Courtney), since I’ve already picked them as some of my favorites. I also love Joshua and Twitch. I figured Joshua didn’t need my votes; and Twitch, while great in Hip Hop, is not that strong in the other styles. He’s likable as all get out though. I’m thinking his staunchest supporters would have voted like crazy for him last night - and he really did kill the Hip Hop. (So did Comfort, but she has never built up much of a fan base early. That really is the ONLY time she shined this season, imo.)

  29. 79 c-lyn Jul 17th, 2008 at 1:09 pm

I did not enjoy Mark or Kherington at all last night. I never got the love Nigel had for Kherington at the beginning of the competition. She’s a beautiful girl, but her dancing skills, IMO, are just not great. I’ve loved Mark in previous weeks, but he really let me down last night. I didn’t even like his solo.

I, too, would love to see Joshua, Katee, Gev, and Courtney as the top four. Gev is working so hard week after week and he is so entertaining to watch. He and Courtney are just wonderful together. Joshua has been my favorite since the auditions and Katee joined him there the first week of the competition. I agree that Will is the best technical dancer, but I wouldn’t miss him if he left tonight. Twitch is beloved by so many, and rightfully so, but he lacks the skills to win. Comfort will never look good with a partner in anything other than hip hop. I’m glad she got the chance to shine last night, but she really needs to go.

I really like Chelsie too. I think she’s working almost as hard as Gev, but I still prefer Courtney over her.

  30. 80 KrazeeK120 Jul 17th, 2008 at 1:17 pm

Why is it so hard to believe that the choreographer liked it, just like most of the rest of the world, and wanted to use it?

I’m going to beg to differ. I doubt most of the rest of the world has even heard the song. And, there are PLENTY of people out there who don’t like that version of the song. I, for one, do not believe that song should be messed with. I much prefer Blake’s rendition to DA’s for that reason…he sang it straight. I know there’s a lot of people out there who agree with me.

Plus, I don’t think they’ve ever done that for any of the idols in the past (that is, used a song from an Idol performance show). Before anyone jumps on me, I’m aware that a solo was done to one of Elliott’s songs last year. However, that was more than a year after he’d been on the show and the song was off of his CD, readily available for purchase to anyone who wanted it. But, I digress.

I’m starting to get tired of the pimping on SYTYCD. On Idol, they at least ACT like they’re trying to find the “best singer” so they pimp the people who they deem are “the best.” But SYTYCD is supposed to be about finding “America’s Favorite Dancer.” The judges seem fairly focused on technical ability. Will and Katee (and Chelsie and Joshua IMO) are the best technical dancers in the competition. But there are others (Gev, Twitch) who have more personality in their pinkies than Will has in his whole body. Is there some reason that America can’t pick its own favorite dancer without Nigel shoving his favorites down our throats? If they are looking for the best technical dancer, they need to stop saying that they are awarding the title of “America’s Favorite Dancer” at the end of the competition.

    /rant

  31. 81 cheese Jul 17th, 2008 at 1:38 pm

I don’t care for DA’s version of Imagine, but hopefully that was the last time I’ll ever hear it. I don’t think there’s anything particularly unfair or knollish about them using it, but they might have worked out the kinks in the editing before playing that version on national TV. There were so many songs I hated on the show last night “Imagine if This Perfect Song Had Too Many Runs” barely stuck out.

Well, this is my first year watching and I swore there was no way I would ever vote, but there I was at 10:10 voting for my little Russian (TM Chelsie) and also a little bit for Mark. Mark wasn’t on top of his game, but he definitely got screwed with bland choreography x2, a cowboy hat, a camisole and Kherington. He’s been one of the most consistently entertaining so I think he’ll stick around, in spite of all that. I thought Gev actually had his best night so far, after a pretty strong week last week, and I even thought he did fine on the Jive (Will’s wasn’t any better in my completely useless opinion) I thought that was one of the more memorable dances of the night (and not just because of Chelsie). The Dancing With the Stars comment seemed a little low.

I have all my points on Comfort and Gev, but I wish they could send Kherington and Comfort home instead. Gev is smaller than some of the girls so I’m sure any of the other guys could pick him up and throw him around, lol.

  32. 82 elle Jul 17th, 2008 at 1:40 pm

KrazeeK - Of course I understand that most of the ‘world’ hasn’t heard Imagine. I guess I need to be a little more literal on this site!

However, I would beg to differ that of all the people who have heard it, many more liked it that did not. And many have been inspired by it. It’s OK if you don’t prefer it, but that doesn’t mean that lots did, including most likely, the choreographer.

  33. 83 Allison Jul 17th, 2008 at 1:45 pm

I don’t now, I’m not really enjoying the performances this year. The characters aren’t grabbing me like last year. Only Gev/Chelsie/Courtney are consistently entertaining me. I could have lived without dancing in a boat! And I’m not happy with Comfort back again. But I did really like Li’l C as a judge. He’s respectful, and endeavors to explain coherently what he’s feeling about the performance.

  34. 84 Grammie Kari Jul 17th, 2008 at 1:47 pm

I do think that Mark and Kherington got the worst draw. Texas two-step is right up there with quickstep and disco in the “I can’t believe I pulled this crap dance” basket. But I think Mark looks terrific no matter what he does.

I did not know this dance and I was expecting a fun-filled, peppy dance like Sara Evans did 2 seasons ago on DWTS. What a major disappontment. Much too slow and nothing special. I do like them as a couple though.

The boat dance did not impress me that much and I feel the judges are overpraising Katee. Comfort should go home, again. I am not impressed.

Now, Joshua and Courtney is the couple who I enjoyed the most last night. There is good chemistry between them. Finally, I figured out who she reminds me of… Debra Winger, the actress. Now, she did some good country type dancing in “Urban Cowboy!”

  35. 85 jpfan Jul 17th, 2008 at 1:49 pm

As far as I know the choreographer always choses the music. Why would Nigel force a well known choreographer to use a song you can’t even buy anymore? And I dislike a lot of the music used on the show but I accept the fact that the choreographer or dancer chose it. I’m not seeing anything major here and lots of people liked Imagine. It was one of Archie’s big sellers. It’s not one of my particular favorites but different strokes, you know.

It def is America’s favorite dancer which is why I wouldn’t be surprised if Will or Katee didn’t make it to the end. That’s fine with me since there really is no big honor associated with winning this show. The whole top ten are winners in my book just for getting exposure on the show. The judges are giving their honest opinions I asume. But it’s just a realityTV show you know.

PS - only about 8 million people watch SYTYCD so get played on the latter is not a major deal compared to singing it to an Idol audience.

  36. 86 KristiVA Jul 17th, 2008 at 2:23 pm

While I agree with most everyone here that he is the most technically gifted and talented of the dancers, he doesn’t seem to connect with the public at large - though maybe that’s a misconception on my part since he doesn’t connect with me.

You are not alone. He has not connected with me in the least. In fact, I’m coming to loath him intensely, but that’s just me.

One more thing, KrazeeK120, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!! LOL

  37. 87 RiaP Jul 17th, 2008 at 2:23 pm

Even though the pimpage of Will and Katee is over the top, it’s not their fault. They kinda deserve all that praise because their dance was great!

I actually don’t want any of them to go :( It would suck if Comfort was eliminated the second time in a row. And I love all the boys! Especially Mark! I think Kherington would be my pick for the girls.

Some people hate the version, some people love it. It was just used for a dance. It’s not THAT of a big deal.

  38. 88 weelassie Jul 17th, 2008 at 2:59 pm

Did Joshua hold Jessica all during the judging like he did Courtney? I just don’t remember him hugging Jess like that. Poor Gev, he was probably a tad sad.

  39. 89 mj Jul 17th, 2008 at 3:01 pm

    Reminder:

Keep your remarks on the TOPIC of the thread, NOT on the thread itself, please.

The topic of the thread is this week’s performances on So You Think You Can Dance, not American Idol. Any AI-fueled fan war that starts here, will be stopped.

    Thank you!

  40. 90 ladymadonna Jul 17th, 2008 at 3:15 pm

Honestly, manufacturing quotes?? Why is it so hard to believe that the choreographer liked it, just like most of the rest of the world, and wanted to use it?

I don’t find it hard to believe that Desmond Richardson liked the song. I was just trying to find a link to the interview where he supposedly said this. It wasn’t included in the pre-dance package in last nights’ show, and I frequent a lot of AI and SYTYCD sites/boards and nobody has been able to provide an attribution for the quote.

I think music-selection is an important element of the overall perception of a routine on SYTYCD, and I’m curious about how those decisions are made. I just tend to question any kind of paraphrasing that pops up on fansites without any direct attribution - that doesn’t mean I question the use of the song.

Also, for what it’s worth, I’m another viewer who certainly admires the technical skill and beauty of Will’s dancing, but has yet to really connect with him enough to root for him. The pas de deux was lovely, but it was Gev & Chelsie’s contemporary that I found myself rewinding to rewatch again and again last night. I would not be surprised at all to see Will in the B2 tonight (both due to backlash from perceived over-pimping, as well as lukewarm audience reaction).

  41. 91 Grammie Kari Jul 17th, 2008 at 3:23 pm

This “Two-Step” dance was just killing me, so I had to look up the name of the dance Sara Evans did on DWTS and it was called a ‘country-themed jive’ to Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made For Walking”.

If Mark and Kherington had pulled a jive, then Ronnie DeBenedetta and Brandi Tobias would have been able to countrify it. I just wanted to see a new dance come off as good and their dance just wasn’t that special.

I thought that was one of the more memorable dances of the night (and not just because of Chelsie). The Dancing With the Stars comment seemed a little low.

Cheese, if this was in reference to my comment, I really am so sorry!

Oh no, not at all. I was talking about the judges’ comments about DWTS. I just felt a little sorry for Gev since since the last thing viewers heard from the judges before voting started was basically “Hey, Gev looked like Adam Corolla up there!” It’s a little different coming from a blogger, lol.

Did Joshua hold Jessica all during the judging like he did Courtney? I just don’t remember him hugging Jess like that. Poor Gev, he was probably a tad sad.

    weelassie,

Joshua’s partner prior to this week was Katee. Will was with Jessica. And I think Joshua was affectionate with Katee, but I’m not sure she was as … for lack of a better word … reciprocol … as Courtney was last night.

I was pouting a bit for Gev myself last night over that. Am I a dork, or what? Don’t answer that.

While Mark and Kherington were dancing to “Canned Heat” I couldn’t think of anything but Napoleon Dynamite dancing to that song.

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who doesn’t feel anything for Will. Nothing against him, I’m just hoping for a shocking elimination that would keep other people I’m more interested in (particularly Gev) in the competition.

JI’ve loved Mark since day one but wow. I think he is a terrific dancer, but wow. I think Kherrington is no where near as good as the judges seem to think, I don’t think she ever should have made the top 20, but I can’t even blame it all on her for how bad that two step was. It was a slow motion bomb. I liked Mark’s solo tonight, but that’s about it. He is my guess for going home tonight, Will being my other guess. As for girls, Comfort and Kherrington in the bottom - and maybe, just maybe, Kherrington will be heading home and Comfort will get another week. Which would be fine with me, pleeeease get Kherrington off my TV!! Other than that, Chelsie is still my pick to win. She is just so so so good I can’t keep my eyes off of her. Otherwise…Jessica? Hot!

    kerfuffle,
yep, that’s why i can’t remember joshua holding jessica. cuz she was with will. lol. i get them mixed up sometimes. i just don’t remember him holding anyone like he did last night. joshua and courtney seem to have some good chemistry.

erinnth - I agree with so much of your post. ditto on Katee smiling, although I think that she is the one who could win it all. I also agree that the jazz dance wasn’t all that. The Neil Sabra dance (was it Sabra) around the office table was tons better, and this boat dance seemed to follow a similar format.

    It’s just Erinn ;)

I just don’t think Katee has as large of a fan base as the judges seem to think. I, for one, loved her at first, but I’ve really begun to grow cold towards her. The judges over praise doesn’t help. Courtney and Chelsie will crush her when it comes down to it.

Table (which was just nominated for an Emmy!!) is one of my favorite dances in the history of the show. That boat dance was no where near it.

I just can’t help but wonder what a dancer like Will is doing on this show. He’s 21, and for all intents and purposes he should have been picked up by a company already. What are his motives? Danny wanted the money and clout to open his own studio, so that made sense, but why Will?

In watching Comfort’s goodbye video last week, and Kerrington’s goodbye video this week - I would much rather have seen more of Kerrington.

Gev’s solo was awesome. I didn’t want any of the guys to leave this week. He seems so sweet and a favorite of Cat’s. I hope he will be paired with Courtney for the tour!

The answer to Will may have something to do with Debbie Allen.

OOooO thanks for explaining the 4 real thing. I honestly thought it had something to do with being black because I was only aware of Will, Joshua, Twich, and Comfort wearing the shirts but apparently Gev had one on too, so I was mistaken. Cool. My favorite is still Twitch from the boys but all of the guys are talented, except Mark does nothing for me. For the girls, ehhh I dont have a favorite anymore since Kourtney left and now Kherington :(
