Yeah, there was way too much cannon fodder especially among the guys in the top 24 last season. We definitely should have had, at least, Colton Swon, Brandon Green and Kyle Ensley in the top 24 instead.
It also bugs me that these people do not stand out with the thousands who endure rain, wind, cold, extreme heat, etc. These so called, last auditions of the day are sometimes arranged in advance. You didn’t see them in the cattle call.
Also, how can they be really nervous if they have almost been guaranteed to go to Hollywood. When I watched the first season, I never imagined this could happen. :mad_wp:
I don’t know if I really believe the PLANT theory. Sorry guys…. I think it’s common knowledge that you DON”T have to wait in the cold, rain, overnight, etc. You can walk up 5 minutes before the cattle call audition, and they’re STILL gonna let you audition. You won’t see them on the tapes then, cause, well, they weren’t there. They were resting their vocal cords at home in bed, instead of under a tent.
Can’t fault anyone for that………
I really don’t want to hear the SAD stories. This is a singing competition. Everyone has a story! I have a SAD story. You have a SAD story. Who cares!

I finally saw Jackie Tohn (thank you, tivo). OMG, she is horrible. I can’t belive she even made it to Hollywood. She’s like a bad Amanda Overmeyer, but with an annoying personality to boot. Oh please please let her be a one-and-done.
