Carly Smithson We Are the Fallen Debut Album ‘Tear the World Down’ Set to Drop May 11
Carly Smithson and her band, We Are the Fallen, are set to release their debut album, Tear the World Down on May 11. After performing at Kings College, London on March 23, the band is set to tour with Finnish rock band H.I.M. Check out the tour dates HERE.

Carly attended Season 7 mate, David Cook’s, concert at Morongo Casino and Resort Saturday night and took the stage with David and his band for a scorching performance of “Barracuda”. Check it out HERE.

The iconic band has already uncorked their scorching first single, ‘Bury Me Alive,’ making it available exclusively for the digital domain in the beginning of February.
The formidable five-some is comprised of the original members of multi-platinum trailblazing band Evanescence, guitarists Ben Moody and John LeCompt along with drummer Rocky Gray, joined by breakout American Idol finalist Carly Smithson on vocals. Carly Smithson and We Are The Fallen – ‘Bury Me Alive’ Now Available for Download
The first single, “Bury Me Alive” from Carly Smithson’s band, We Are the Fallen, is now available for download from iTunes and Amazon.
Carly gets to show off her impressive pipes on this epic tune.
The band, made up of ex-members of Evanescence, will be hitting the road beginning with their debut show in London, UK on March 23.
The group will then return to the US to begin a tour in Philadelphia on the 26th, , opening for the Finnish band, HIM. For more info, check out wearethefallen.com.
The band’s label, Universal, is promoting the song to rock radio, and considering how tough it is to get females on rock radio these days, I hope they push it hard.

Carly Smithson and We Are The Fallen Release First Single, ‘Bury Me Alive’ February 2

Season 7 Idol, Carly Smithson and her band, We Are the Fallen will release their first single, “Bury Me Alive” to digital outlets on Tuesday February 2.
Those of us who signed up for the band’s newsletter back in June received the single for free. If you missed out on that deal you’ll have to pony up the dollar or so to download it on the 2nd.
The band, made up of original Evanescence members, Ben Moody and John LeCompt along with drummer Rocky Gray and bassist Marty O’Brien will head out on the road with Norwegian rockers HIM for a 28 city tour, beginning on 3/7 in Philadelphia, PA.
We Are the Fallen’s full length album is due out later this year.
Carly Smithson and We Are the Fallen Begin Tour in March

Season 7 Idol, Carly Smithson and her band, We Are The Fallen are set to tour, opening for Findland hard rock band, HIM.
We are the Fallen are made up of Carly, and ex-members of the band Evanescence, and were signed by Universal Records in October. The band is scheduled to release an album this year.
The band formed in June, with a big splashy press conference and live performance, they’ve been hunkered down in the studio writing and recording.
The tour begins in Philadelphia, PA on March 26.

Good news for Season 7 Idol, Carly Smithson and her band We Are the Fallen (We Are the Fallen are made of of Ex-Evanescence members). The band will release their first record in early 2010.

David Cook Gets A Little Help From His Friends

David Cook was at the center of a mini-reunion of the Season 7 Idol cast when he and his band played a concert in Los Angeles last night.
Michael Johns, Carly Smithson, Brooke White, Jason Castro, Syesha Mercado and Ramiele Malubay all came out to see their friend play. And they tweeted about it!

According to JoesPlace blog, Michael Castro, Jason Castro’s little brother, got a golden ticket from the judges during the Dallas Season 9 auditions this week. He advanced to Hollywood last year too, making it all the way to the last day of the round. We’ll see if he makes it further this year…
