Jordin Sparks announced tour plans this morning on her official fanclub, Sparkstown.com. She’ll be headling the tour, set to begin at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City on April 24, through to Baton Rouge, LA on June 26.

Ticket presales for Premium SparksTown members begin Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 10:00AM (local time) at SparksTown.com.

Jordin Sparks tweeted a link to a song she recorded last year for her latest album, Battlefield, called “Turn This Car Around”:  “Oh, this is a song I recorded last year but didnt make the cut. Its still great! @claudekelly & Oak did this piece! ”

It’s not bad, as far as leftover songs go… Check it out below:

Jordin’s latest project? She tweeted today that she’s recording a song and some voice-overs for Nick Jr.,  “In the studio recording a voice-over & song for Nick Jr. TEAM UMIZOOMI! ”

Last night, David Archuleta and Brooke White took in a performance by Season 7 mate, Syehsa Mercado in Dreamgirls.

Syesha plays Deena in the production, currently playing at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

@DavidArchie tweeted, ” Great job by the performers and @Syesha …Reunited and it feels so good!”  And at @realbrookewhite  “…show was amazing and @syesha was a superstar.”

Season 6 Idol, Jordin Sparks and David Hernandez from Season 7, attended the Dreamgirls premiere the night before.

Aw. I love Idol reunions!

Kris Allen, Jordin Sparks and others are featured in this promo for Jason Derulo’s new self-titled album… Gosh, as soon as it comes out, I’m going to go right out and get it!

Jordin Sparks talked about her charity efforts, next single and tour plans  with True Exclusives back stage at the 2010 Hearts Truth Fashion Show on Feb 11.

Jordin will be releasing a third single from her album Battlefield and a will embark on a spring club tour, followed by bigger venues this summer…

The world premiere of the ‘We Are The World 25 For Haiti’ video aired during NBC’s coverage of the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics tonight.

Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Katharine McPhee and Randy Jackson took part in the recording, and Idol music director, Rickey Minor was a co-producer.

Jennifer got several major solos (sads she was forced to sing with the Bieber, but whatcha gonna do)

Proceeds of the video goes to the ongoing post-earthquake relief efforts for Haiti. For more information on how to donate, check out this LINK.

Jordin Sparks and Bethanny Frankel, Felicity Huffman, Regina King, Dara Torres, Kristin Chenoweth and Raven Symone pose backstage before the Hearts Truth fashion show last night (Feb 11) for New York Fashion Week.

Jordin donned a Badgley Mischka dress, and strutted down the runway to a version of her song, “Battlefield”.

The event, pairing 7 female celebrities with designers, was held to raise awareness for heart disease.

Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta performed yesterday and last night as part of Jordin’s 3 day pre-superbowl Jordin Sparks Experience.

Today, the pair visited Miami Children’s Hospital to deliver teddy bears to the young patients there.

Jordin tweeted earlier today, “Just left Miami Childrens Hospital…visited some amazing kids w/ @stephjonesmusic, @djbabeydrew, @mo_wonderland, @phisparks & @jodisparks…I love kids & had so much fun visiting them! The Teddy Bears were a success! Thanks for those who helped out with the bears! …”

Oops, Jordin almost forgot…

“…Aaaaaand @davidarchie was there with us! It was awesome for him to come along too! ”

The Jordin Sparks Experience concludes tomorrow night with the Red, White, and Black Rock N’ Roll After Party. More information about the event HERE.  Event proceeds help fund the Sparks Charities, a foundation started by Jordin and her family.

2nd Update: I just saw the entire list of participants, and Carrie was not on the list. Jordin Sparks, Katharine McPhee and Randy Jackson were all on the list.

UPDATE:  CNN removed Carrie Underwood’s name from their report (It’s still in the sidebar) and other outlets do not have her on their lists, so I would say, at this point, her involvement it NOT confirmed.

The recording session for the remake of “We Are the World” is happening in Los Angeles tonight (Feb 1), and you can add Jordin Sparks and Carrie Underwood to the list of stars set to participate in the re-recording of the Michael Jackson classic for Haiti relief.

Jennifer Hudson and Katharine McPhee were previously confirmed for the event. Idol judge, Randy Jackson is also involved.

“We Are the World” is produced by Quincy Jones who also helmed the original back in 1985 with Michael Jackson. Idol music director, Rickey Minor is directing the remake, so I would not be surprised if there were even more Idols amongst the 100+ stars tapped for the single.

Jordin tweeted, “Being apart of the We Are The World remake is such an honor. So much talent together for a great cause. I will never forget tonight. <3″

Some of the big names involved in the effort: Barbra Streisand, Pink, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Fergie, Brian Wilson, Akon, wil.i.am, Tony Bennett, Rob Thomas, Jeff Bridges, Heart and more.

If you are an ice skating fan, you might enjoy Jordin Sparks’ performances from the Skate for the Heart special that aired on NBC Sunday.

Stars from the world of ice skating, such as Johnny Weir, Ben Agosto & Tanith Belbin and Evan Lysacek skated as Jordin performed some of her biggest hits live.

The event was taped back in September at the at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

This football season is just full of Idol National anthem goodness!

First, there was Jordin Sparks and Kris Allen singing the National Anthem ahead of the AFC and NFC (respectively) football championships last weekend.

Now, per E Online’s Marc Malkin, Carrie Underwood is set to sing the anthem before the Superbowl in Miami, FL, Sunday February 7 when the Indianapolis Colts battle the New Orleans Saints for the championship.

Queen Latifah is set to sing “America the Beautiful” and British rock band, The Who, will play at halftime.

Carrie’s performance will be the third Idol anthem in as many years. Jennifer Hudson performed the anthem last year, only a few months after her mother, brother and nephew were murdered. And in 2008, the reigning American Idol, Jordin Sparks, did the honors.

Jordin Sparks sings a beautiful version of the National Anthem in Indianapolis, IN, before the AFC Championship football game between the Colts and the New York Jets.

Today’s NFC and AFC Champion football games will both begin with National Anthem performances from Idol winners.

At 3 pm ET, Season 6 Idol,  Jordin Sparks win sing the Anthem in Indianapolis before the Colts vs. NY Jets AFC championship on CBS.

And at 6:30 ET in New Orleans, the latest winner, Kris Allen, will sing the NA before the Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings NFC championship game on FOX.
