Taylor appeared at a radio station (frogmen?) today and and sang “The Fall” and “Gonna Move”. It is on utube. Really great performances of these two great Taylor songs! He looks soooooo good too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • alliegirl:

I could definitely hear this on the country stations. Very Good!!!

  • Crazymomelon:

Watching and listening to Taylor, I can’t help but smile. He enjoys what he’s doing, which makes me enjoy him. And, yes,he’s one fine good looking man.

I hope he picks up some country fans. They are very loyal to their stars. I actually love this song.

Love this man! Light and airy video…just fun to watch. I will take the man and the car.

  • JOJOSIE:

Another Taylor fan here. I like this better than his first release from the album. I found David Cook last year and Adam this year but Taylor is still my first AI love and very special. I hope to get to see him live sometime again soon. :wub_tb:

Taylor is my first favorite American Idol, and I still dig what he does. Glad to see some guy fans in the video’s crowd, as that what you see at his concerts – women crazy for him and guys that like his style and sound.

Although I’m not a country music fan, hopefully he’s found a niche with this Southern Soul/Country song. It fits him just right!

Didn’t a group of fans have the SP guitar strap made for him….? Trying to remember.

I put a link to the iTunes country mix in the post above…

  • Taylor Hicks revived my interest in music when he appeared on AI and his concerts, albums, and videos keep me following him.

Love this video — good scenery, great car and good looking chicks (for the guys); and dig the re-mix of Seven Mile Breakdown. Spence Nicholson did a fantastic job and turned out an A class professional video.

Thanks for posting the video and a link to purchase on your site.

Thanks for posting the link, MJ.

I immediately loved the remix of SMB upon first hearing it, and think it may be Taylor’s best post-Idol release. As for the video, I think it evokes exactly the right southern vibe without “screaming” country.

Um. Maybe not a good day to talk about screaming on an Idol blog.

I can’t remember the story exactly, but there are twin brothers that live in Alabama, and they make guitar straps for bands like the Allman Brothers and Rolling Stones, and I think they made the strap and presented it to him after he won idol.

I think of the CD version as Southern Rock, the remix Country. This video is just fun and I wish Taylor much luck with this song. Thanks, mj.

sounds good he looks nice the car is red but tater hix should be aShamed. I guess it wouldn’t be a videO without some chicKeee prancing around in her Drawers.

  • koolgurl:

I love this song in both versions, and hope he does well on the country charts with it. Thanks mj for posting the video.

  • oceana:

    Go Taylor! I love him.

  • MaryS-NJ:

Thanks for the video, MJ. This is awesome! Taylor looks right in his element, having fun.

I liked Seven Mile Breakdown from the first listen, and I like the country mix even better, which is surprising because I’m not usually a huge country music fan.

As for the “fantasy” girls lol … yeah, but then some of Taylor’s previous girlfriends are really, really pretty, so maybe not so much of a fantasy after all.
