Mark your calendars people! Glee begins its second season on Tuesday September 21!
Next season will feature some new cast members and a Britney Spears-themed episode, that will put the focus on the lovable-but-dumb cheerio-gleekster, Brittany.
Glee cleaned up on Emmy nominations–19 in all, including noms for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series (Matt Morrison), Actress (Lea Michele) Supporting Actress (Jane Lynch) and Supporting Actor (Chris Colfer) and Outstanding Comedy Series.

- Finn and Rachel will remain a couple the entire season, but it won’t be smooth sailing.
- Puck loves Quinn, but she needs to go off and “find herself.”
- Sue Sylvester will be meaner than ever
- Terri isn’t going away. She’ll try to weasel her way back into Will’s heart. She’ll get a new love interest this season. Will will become jealous.
- We’ll get to know minor characters like Brittany, Santana and Mike Chang better.
- There will be a Britney Spears special, but she won’t be on the show. The plotline will revolve around Brittany.
- Javier Bardem WILL probably make an appearance on the show the second half of the season.
- Jennifer Lopez could make an appearance. Exec Producer Ryan Murphy is still trying to find her the right part.
- Kristin Chenoweth is definitely coming back.
- Jonathan Groff will be doing a play in London for most of next year. He probably won’t return during the fall.
