It’s Melanie Martinez’s party and she’ll cry if she wants to. Literally. The Voice season 3 alum, mashes up the chorus of the Leslie Gore classic into her new single “Pity Party.”
The 20 year old singer/songwriter directed and conceived the new music video for the tune, which features a candy colored party of one that devolves into cake destroying chaos.
The video has almost 70K views in two days, which is pretty impressive. Melanie has already released an EP, Dollhouse, on Atlantic records. “Pity Party” is the first single from Melanie’s forthcoming album, Crybaby.
