PASADENA - A cloak of secrecy hung over the filming of an “American Idol” segment on the rainy steps of City Hall early Tuesday morning.
About 16 of the talent-show contestants - no one from Fox television would say exactly how many - were filmed emerging from their cars and going up City Hall’s steps. No one would say why.
“I can confirm that we are shooting today, but details are confidential,” Fox publicist Jill Hudson said in an e-mail sent several hours after the 7 a.m. City Hall shoot.
Ariel Penn, who heads the city’s film office, said she believed the Fox show might have used City Hall as a substitute for the Civic Auditorium. Normally, Penn said, the finalists audition in the auditorium’s Gold Room and are filmed going up the steps outside.

What’s the deal with these spoilers? They change all the time. I don’t know what to believe now.
I’m still going with Joe’s place and so far, she says Colton, Drew, Cardin - all cut. She said she will post more after 9. (when I last checked at 7)
I have no idea. The list is pretty bumming right now. I am just reading the list from MJ’s link to IDF. There are 3 people there who are supposedly the ones who know and all three saying those folks are out. (still that is why I said rumors) Jersey that is one I was referring to also.
Season 7, the year of the tweens ugh.
Obviously some of the sources are screwing with them..LOL That’s why the lists don’t match. Hopefully JoesPlace will straighten them out soon.

I think this article–the pictures and video–may have been planted by the show. I would not be surprised if there was a huge disinformation campaign going on right now to throw people off the track.
Wow!! Looks like KLC had too many skeletons in her closet. I wonder how TPTB will deal with this controversy if they turn out to be true. Many powerful forces are waiting to jump on AI for this, if you know what I mean..LOL

Actually, when I finally did see Colton sing, I was disturbed by the hair and beetle brows.
I think MJ is right that that photo shoot is part of planned disinformation campaign. Something was very fishy about the whole thing.

Three Davids and two Jasons in the competition…interesting. And the Colton there is not the Swon one? The name Chikeze Eze intrigues me.
Why am I sad that Cardin is not there even though I have not seen or heard her on AI yet? :s And the Filipino-American girl, Ramiele, apparently made it? She must have sung better than she sounded on her myspace because based on just that, I didn’t think she sounded like somebody who could make it to the show. Well, good luck to her. If she is indeed a better singer than I initially thought, I think I would already have a sentimental favorite for now. Heh. :)

Well if that list is right, they’ve pretty much caused me to lose most of my interest in this season. Good job, TPTB.
Yeah it looked so good coming in, and the elevator eats all the good people up (that we know of)? Of course, the list may not be right…and they may be amazing after all once we hear them (3 cities to go)…
Consensus top 24 (listed on ALL known sources, meaning they are those with the highest confidence, although I still wouldn’t say 100%): Carly, Alaina, Kristy, Kady, Michael J, David A, Danny.
Everyone else has 1 or more source saying he/she was cut, so confidence should be seen as lower.
Their accuracy was 100% last season, but they missed on Heather Cox and (I think) Stevie Scott in Season 5, perhaps one or two others.
NOPE. The final spoiler list compiled in Season 5 was 100% correct. I should know. I compiled it. :).
