griz - kalua - have some of that, so don’t have to buy another bottle. Have you ever had Chocolate Kalua Pound Cake? It is so yummy and moist! Easy to make - one of those cakes that starts with a mix and you add all these other things to it so it doesn’t taste like a cake mix.
Kat - SoCo? I’m not familiar - short for something I guess? It takes me a while to figure out all the shorthand people use here! Like song titles that are just initials - I sit here and try to figure them out. But I type fast so usually just type it all out. :)
Also, Kat - looking forward to that review you mentioned coming out tomorrow - Miami paper I think?
Another thing - does nobody else hear “Black Horse & a Cherry Tree” in “Love Story”? Same tune, different lyrics to me. Though I don’t have a clue what the words ARE! It sounds so much like it, down to the beginning Woo Hoo stuff!
weelassie………..yes, the Ace, Pickler and Ruben were on LKL. Oh yes, and LaToya London(?) They all did great, but it looks so contrived to me. It was again all about does AI take advantage of people in those cruel clips. LK read the blurb where Jennifer H said that AI is abusive etc. They all said they were not abused or brainwashed.
Gel will do no good with Taylor. It will have to be duct tape him to the mike like on YASB.(LOL)

That’ll be the Miami Herald. The review is scheduled to run tomorrow. Howard Cohen really wasn’t impressed with the album, but I’m not sure how vitriolic he’s going to be.

Just wondering , wouldn’t you like to see panther boy and big bird from the tryouts together on the same stage ? The feathers would fly but I think she could slam dunk him.
When Taylor’s cd first came out, JTFTW wasn’t one of the standouts to me - it was always The Right Place, Wherever I Lay My Hat, Places I’ve Been, and The Deal for the ballads/love songs, and I could get lost in the first 3 - The Deal was somewhere in between - a sort of buffer between the ballads and the more toe-tapping songs.
But now, since he was on Ellen and sang JTFTW, I am more crazy about that song every time I hear it. And I want it played on the radio til we scream Uncle! :)
Hell of a Day is one of the most infectious shoulder moving, fingers snapping, head bopping songs on the whole cd, and I can’t wait til he gets to the part about “so you can get on with your life, and I can get on with mine…”
Kat’s part was so brief that if I had turned my head I would have missed. That was totally a write in as a favor. She did a good job with the seconds she had. Unless she has more coming up in the last five minutes, I guess that was it.

It was cute - she looked very pretty (I think she should consult their wardrobe mistress every time she needs to get dressed up!), but it was a very short clip and if you got up to get a drink or snack, you’d miss it.
She ran into Betty as she was going to her seat at the show. There was one other time the camera panned the audience during the ’show’ and focused on her for a moment - she was smiling coyly as some guy was nuzzling her neck.
Des……….I missed the part where some guy was nuzzling Kats neck. Was it Nick?
I did not watch kat . I understand it is just a walk on and she signs an autograph. PS Love WILMH. Think it is old enough of a song that it too could be a single. Look at Rod Stewart’s new single. It is an old song ,,,but new to those under 40 yoa
I didn’t get why they showed that. It wasn’t Nick - I don’t THINK it was Nick. It was also very brief, and his head was buried in her neck (or ear - or hair) so I didn’t see his face, but he wasn’t ‘bald’ like Nick and also didn’t look as skinny. But as I said, I didn’t get why that scene was necessary. She had this, as I said, very coy looking smile - just a little odd.
JTFTW was my fav from the first time I listened to it. I thought that might be Taylors song that would reach a larger variety of music lovers. If the radio stations would just play it , that’s the problem.
By the way , Kellies hair looked adorable on LK.
terry, I am absolutely crazy about WILMH, it’s my favorite of favorites! Places I’ve Been is a new song written for him though, so that would also be a good one for radio. Guess his next single should be more upbeat, but I’d also love for The Deal to be a single!
They’re beginning to play it, cricket. Did you see my post at the end of page 10 with all the times yes.com picked JTFTW up? It seems to be starting, and Monday hopefully we’ll begin to notice it more.

I love WILMH too. I have already alerted my favorite station about JTFTW, they replied, and I am sure they will play it as they are Taylor friendly..or at least they were to DIMYP. I am also going to try and request Places I’ve Been, WILMH and TRP on the nighttime show. It is called Love Songs on the KOST and they would all fit in perfectly. Won’t hurt to try anyway. Unless they don’t have the album or they are not cleared, they might do it.

Desdemona , yes I saw your post and was glad to hear that JTFTW is getting some play. I was in Lowe’s last week and heard both Bo (Real Thing) and Taylor ( DIMYP ). I haven’t heard JTFTW here yet but I call them and request. I love TRP but I’m not sure it would have as wide appeal as JTFTW. I would love to hear TRP used as background in a tv show or movie. That is one HOT song.

Could it be possible that the short clip of DIMYP on AI reminded some people of that performance who didn’t purchase the single when it came out? How long was the clip anyway?

griz………..well I doubt that could explain the bump. Maybe a little. I think the plays it has been getting here and there have helped. Some people never heard it on the radio after it came out. I am listening to ANS right now………yeah boy!
