   no it doesn’t, and it only counts votes that are cast with its system

   Text voting totals by their nature are not measurable by any dialing protocol.

   While dialidol can only use the data gathered by users who are utilizing the DI software to vote, the predictions are based on extrapolation from the busy percentage experienced by those users. It is a fairly complex set of equations which set the DI score.

   Yikes! Sanjaya really can’t sing. Or dance. I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt, but they were kind to him. They are kind to all of them this year.

   Taylor Hicks in on Pre-April Fool’s Day Panic

   No, this is not a belated April Fool’s Day story. On Saturday, March 31, American Idol champ Taylor Hicks performed with Widespread Panic at Cleveland, OH’s Playhouse Square Center State Theater. Hicks, who clocked in time in a Widespread Panic coverband before scoring fame via American Idol, played harmonica with the jam-titans on “Stop Breakin’ Down Blues” before offering his own show at Cleveland’s House of Blues. This marks Hicks second appearance with the group in the past year and second appearance in the Latest in the past week. Widespread Panic will appear at Richmond, VA’s Landmark Theater tonight.
