terry, when you pull up the comments others have written, there will be a space that asks if you want to write a comment.
I believe you will have to register the 1st time, it is pretty easy if memory serves me right. In addition to writing your own comments you can also comment on others comments, lol.
I haven’t had the honor of being zapped off yet, but some of my comments to “supposed” Taylor fans are pretty raw so I am sure I am commenting on borrowed time.
Off to bed for me, 6:00 am comes too damned early.
Terry, it’s going to take more than a little ice to kill a crepe myrtle! We had one burn to the ground, I hacked at the sprouts for 15 years - yes, 15 years - before I gave up and in 5 years it is over 25′ tall. They don’t die easy.

Desdamona,,,, I read your posts so here goes….I admire that you wrote a review on Amazon… I am not even sure where you would do that but I am not much of a writer. Like you my favorite (i think you posted this) is WILMH.
Writing a review doesn’t have to be wordy and/or use professional music speak. :) You do have to have purchased something from Amazon before you can post a review or discussion (at the bottom of the reviews are Customer Discussions). Even “I loved this CD. Taylor moves me, etc” is nice to read - and if you do decide to write one, make sure you check the number of stars you want - otherwise, I think the default is 1 star! Not good! LOL.
And even if you don’t write one, if you read them, you get a chance to check whether you found the review helpful or not. It’s good to see those checked also.
And yes, WILMH is my #1 favorite of the cd, but followed so closely by The Right Place, Places I’ve Been, and The Deal that there’s hardly a smidge difference!
Interesting new reviews about Taylor’s Cd at Amazon.
They LOVE the CD, but they really don’t care about The Runaround.
Here is one posted today :
“This is a great CD. Every song is worth listening to. To be honest, the worst song is the first one on the album which is his first release. I’m not sure why they picked that one. There are so many others that are so much better. Anyway, I highly recommend the CD. I wish they would play the music on the radio.”
So glad they went with JTFTW for his first single. It seems to be working #23 Wow! Now, when is his song finally going to be on the radio? People definitely want to hear him. IMO He needs radio and a VH-1 video too!
For those who like Josh Turner check out his video of ” Just To Be Your Man ” . He is yummy and that boy can sing too.
By the way I think Taylor did great on the Ellen show and it is so refreshing to hear someone just belt it out live and do a great job. There are so many so called singers who won’t sing live and lip sync their way to the top of the charts.
Taylor has a great voice but some of these singers who have ” hit ” songs have their voices so manipulated in the studio that if they would sing live it would be unrecognizable. Taylor is a natural talent and the bonus is that he is so much fun to watch. There are a lot of singers but not a lot of entertainers. Taylor is a singer and an entertainer.
terry,
it sounds like it is still icing outside. I have lived here for more than 3 years and this is the first ice storm that I can remember. It snowed for about 10 minutes the first year i was here but not since. Heck it was almost 70 a few days ago. I have several crape myrtles and hope they will be ok. They are one of my favorite trees. But i have several tender perennials that may not make it thru this. Almost everything made it last winter because it was so mild. Most things were closed today. Not sure what tomorrow will bring but it is different because it is unusual for this area.
Hey everybody! I just wanted to drop in and say Hi! I hope the new year has been good to ya’ll! It’s been quite busy for me! Still creating my album, and working as hard as ever to get it finished! I just wanted to let ya’ll know that on January 21, 8/7 central (I think), the TV Guide channel will start to run an exclusive interview I did w/them while grinding out a few songs in the studio….and before we digitally release my first song, I want to give all of my friends on myspace the oppurtunity to hear it first!…stay tuned for details on how soon that’s going to be!….also, on Tuesday of next week, there should be some more news that I know a lot of ya’ll have been anticipating for sooooo long! So hang in there folks! can’t thank ya’ll enough for your love and support! God Bless!
Big Tay fan I emailed GC about Tay online. He gets alot of emails now though.

G’nite shar.
Does anyone have a link to Larry King?? What the heck — I won’t ever meet him so why not?
Here you go DogDoc. Go get ‘em!
Larry King Live

Goodnight Sharon and thank you to everyone who gave me info tonight…. I bought several of T’s CDs at Amazon so I will give it a review and 10 stars :)
cricket, I’m headed there! I love that song.
I’d choose live everytime - and I can’t imagine Taylor would be physically capable of lip-synching anything!
G’nite Terry. Good to ‘meet’ you.
I’m going to turn in too, just in case I can drive to Dallas tomorrow.
Good night Sharon8 …safe driving.
Yeah, Oprah is like the holy grail of CD promotion. I’m sure Taylor will be on eventually. Maybe after his book release.
Nite, I’m gone, too. Stay safe - and warm - if anyone’s having to drive in the ice storms across the country.
