   Will she be a star? Of course she will. She’s beautiful. That’s all one needs these days.

   It seems as if the standards for being a star has lowered also. I thought you actually needed talent to be a star..LOL

   As i’ve said before, Kat’s people have taken a page out of the Hollywood playbook. Be in denial about who and what you’re all about and blame all your shortcomings on everything and everyone but yourself.

   Now that I’ve re-read my fangirly post, I am going to go to sleep and dream of ways to get back all my time and money spent on Taylor Hicks..lol

   Little Debbi - Sorry about your fall! A cat scan is nothing - you just have to lie still. No big deal, no pain. Just a picture of your brain, really. I’ve had a CAT of my sinuses and I’ve had MRI’s. Piece of cake.

   I live on LI - in Suffolk. Tried to get tickets to Westbury, but no go. Maybe I’ll have to buy scalper tickets, not sure. But they were asking $180 for seats already!!!!

   The only two idol wannabes that have interested me are the chia pet hair guy and the bashful back-up singer. Both have very good voices and the guy seems to have a likeable , fun personality.
   The “daddy shot momma and granny has arthritis” girl was a mess IMHO.
   I really wish that entertainers respected their audience enough to at least clean up a little. If I want to see someone dressed like a bum I’ll go down to skid row and look for free. I certainly don’t want to pay to see someone who looks like a slob.
   Taylor wears nice jackets and looks very cool. That shows respect for his fans in my book.

   What od Simon , Paula and Randy have against big yellow fuzzy things ? I can’t imagine why they didn’t give big bird a yellow ticket to hollyweird .

   cricket, that was totally a waste of time and completely unnecessary to put that 50 year old big bird through. Sure does a lot for AI’s credibility, doesn’t it - considering the age limit and all. I wanted to throw up.

    ETA - I meant pass the yellow bird on to the judges and our TVs, not put through to Hollywood of course. Thought I should clarify!

    I just don’t get it. Why don’t they show more of the ones that were put through to Hollywood ? I’m sure there is a place for big bird but AI tryouts ?
    I guess some are just looking for their 15 minutes of fame.

    cricket…..they put the wannabees through to drag out the season. This way, Fox extends their ratings farther ending with football and into 24 and Idol. Other than those three, they do not have a strong lineup. There are more viewers this year because Lost gave up trying to go against them and changed their time. They dominate because they have no competition. I keep checking here to see if its worth my time to start watching at the top 12.

    It would be nice to at least hear a few notes from all of the ones that are going to Hollywood. I’m sure that the contestants families and friends would like to see them also. I don’t see why they can’t do away with some of the freak show and give that time to the contenders.

    cricket……….I think you are in the majority there about doing away with the freak show. There have been alot of news articles etc that are showing that most people want to see less of that, but they can’t have the final people going on and on for months. Viewers would get tired of it faster. They will have to make some adjustments next season though I am sure.

    I’m amazed at the people who post here and watch the show who still think it’s a legitimate talent contest. Go to www.votefortheworst.com and read “the truth about Idol auditions”.
