Update on the Upgrade
Well, as you can see, the upgrade did not happen last night. We ran into some issues and had to back out so the blog could be up for the morning.
However, my server guy just contacted me, and he’s got the blog up and running on a test site. I’m going to be putting the final touches on the configuration today, and hopefully, we’ll be going live tonight.
I’ll keep you posted on any future downtime.

MJ, I posted a comment and then tried to edit it and the edit function wasn’t working for me. When I clicked “submit,” an error code popped up and the change didn’t stick. Just an fyi.
I was able to edit, but only once, and then an error message appeared and the edit function was disabled.
Went back to my post and the change had magically taken place. Magic, I tell you!
Maybe the change only kicks in after the time to edit has expired ….?

Yes, I just got an error code in the headlines section, but I think everything was fine in spite of that.
Not to worry, MJ. Your devoted fans are hangin’ in there with you and for you. Some of us have little choice because we are addicted! All of us know that you have worked long and hard to make this site what it has become and we will thank you for that by being very loyal through these technologically trying times.
The edit function appears to work even though it gives an error message. It may be that the time period for editing has expired after you did your first edit.
No the time hadn’t expired, I edited immediately after posting and the function was then disabled. I haven’t tried to edit since. I’ll test it right now to see if it’s working.
ETA: This is only a test.
