   Does anyone here change their mind after hearing the mp3s of the idol songs? Listening to the recorded versions for some songs makes me like some more, and some less.

   Chris Slighs voice sounds a lot thinner on the recording then it usually is

   lakishas song scares me at the beginning it’s all light and fluffy then all of a sudden she’s all DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER right in my ear and i jumped

    I just downloaded Blake’s song from last night and it sounds great! I can definitely imagine on the radio right now (if I actually listened to the radio, lol). Love it! I was tempted to buy the video but haven’t so far.

    I didn’t think Chris S sounded as good either, Radname.

    so with the performance mp3s top three in length were: Melinda(2:10), Chris R(2:08), and Lakisha(2:07), and bottom two were Chris S and Sanjaya both at 1:49. Gina had the longest recorded song, and Sanjaya had the shortest

    I rushed over to get Jordin’s song and listen to the others and there was Chris Daughtry looking at me. He gets the boot song, the commercial song and now the ad when you go to download. What gives? I just clicked off. Maybe I’ll keep looking and he’ll go away one day. I really liked that song.

    If you are a CHOSEN ONE, you stay that way throughout the contest and after. WE all know Chris S and Sanjaya aren’t the chosen ones.

    bean99 I agree with you about Blake’s mp3. I bought it too and I’ve listened to it like a bazillion times already. He sounds GREAT.

    I haven’t previewed any of the others yet…

    Oh and I liked Mandisa’s blog! She’s a good analyst. ;)

    bean: I agree I just downloaded Blake’s song from last night and he sounds awesome! Totally radio ready this guy! His voice sounds really smooth recorded.I am loving it!

    I see a great future for Blake! I am still in awe with this performance last night!

    Looks like Sanjaya won’t be going away for a long time. The voting has been highjacked but TPTB have only themselves to blame because they proved that votes mean nothing after last years idol wasn’t the one they wanted they crowned their faux idol and kicked the winner to the curb. Simon and his nasty remarks towards the idol 5 winner has caused a lot of people to sit this year out . The judges passed on more talented singers to bring Sanjaya to Hollywood so let them live with it.

    While a portion of Sanjaya’s votes may have been VFTW inspired, I think the vast majority were sincere. He gave an excellent, entertaining performance Tuesday night and there’s a very real niche for him out there. Good on him, I hope he lasts a lot longer!

    I have to say, in some of the camera angles if I squinted my eyes I saw shades of Constantine and got a bit verklempt myself. HAH!
