Ah well. It was fun while it lasted. Too bad Lloyd Daniels wasn’t sent home. He can’t sing, plus, he’s boring.

It kind of amazes me that The Guardian does a live blog of the X Factor!
Susan Boyle sang and sounded good: not my thing, but still…
Maria Carie broke the curse of the international superstars by delivering a good performance and being coherent – although she’s been getting a lot of diva criticism in the press for her demands recently.
I don’t really care who gets voted off tonight – Joe is the only one who did well yesterday.
OMG Lloyd is SAFE!!!!
They have to keep Olly over Jedward!!!
Whoa, did not see that coming.
They better keep Olly instead of Jedward…but Jedward bring the ratings/lulz/controversy so it’s worrisome.
Olly! Olly just HAS to be safe!!

A wicked part of me wants them to get rid of Olly just to see Simon’s face.
He made a major mistake with him this week, giving him a song and routine that just didn’t suit him at all. He’s not a great singer, but his voice suits jazz type songs. He’s a song and dance man, not a modern pop singer.
But, on the other hand, he is a likeable bloke and has more talent than Jedward, even if it is limited.
Wow, British audiences are tough. Booing for the twins…not that their voices aren’t horrendous and the act worse…but c’mn they don’t need to be crucified by the audience!
The singing of the twins was painful!
But I actually felt sorry for them tonight.
About time Jeward are sent packing.
Question-
In any season… has a judge ever voted against their own act?
Though it was fun…. they should have been sent home the week of Lucie Jones. Sad

There are some who think they should have been sent home the week before the contest started.
I don’t mind if Lloyd stays, at least he’s an eye candy (am I allowed to say that? and what’s the legal age in the UK btw?). Danyl on the other hand…
Hum, so Jedward are gone. My b2 was Lloyd and Stacie. And that little start in Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go tells me that Louis did pick the wrong song for his dynamic duo.
I think it was the time Olly faced b2. This song choice didn’t suit him, and the choreography was bad too. Maybe this will make him fight harder in the show. In his part he also showed he could sing Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. So I think they should have picked more Wham! songs than George Michael’s only… Although the twins sang a Wham! song. LOL
But hey – finally the judges decided to not deadlock one decision.
BTW – John and Edward sang No Matter What.
People shouldn’t boo them. It made me feel sad for them.
I like Edward the most since no one can really sing on this show. No More X factor for me.
Is there somewhere I can watch a recorded version of tonight’s show. A close relative just emailed me she was a dancer on tonight’s show. I went to the live feed too late. I don’t normally follow the X-factor blog – does MJ post videos after?
why didn’t Simon leave it to public vote? like before..
He couldn’t, his own act was in danger so he had to save him. It was Danni’s decision actually to leave it to public votes or not

Aw, farewell Jedward. I don’t think I can bear to watch it, I don’t want to see their little faces all sad. They’ll be ok though, if they’re smart about working their 15 minutes into some opportunities that will give them some security going forward.
jedward have proven whatever they needed to prove on the show, so its good that they are leaving now so as to get on with their novelty-act careers.
otoh, if they left lucie to the public vote, then they should have done that for olly too. lucie was much more worth saving than olly.
maybe they were worried that jedward might win? that would make a mockery of this show. then what’s the diff btwn x factor & britain’s got talent??

Hah! You mean their lack of talent will live because this won’t kill them and might actually give them a shot at some kind of performing…wacky sitcom
with very bad, but energetic vocals. Lets call it Aunti Glee!
I’m glad that Olly’s got, at least, one more week. I’m becoming accustomed to his face……., and, no, he won’t be the winner!!
