Congratulations to Justin Guarini! The American Idol season 1 runner-up and his wife, Reina Capodici, welcomed their second son, Asher at 5:40 pm on Monday, February 25. The new baby boy weighed in at 7 lbs. 8 ox.

FOX just sent out a press release that answers the questions I posed in this post announcing the SYTYCD premiere. Yes, So You Think You Can Dance will air on TUESDAYS beginning May 14.

The summer dance competition, So You Think You Can Dance, has a premiere date. The show, produced and created by Idol producer, Nigel Lythgoe will premiere on Tuesday May 14.

Fantasia reveals the cover art and tracklist of her forthcoming album, Side Effects of You.
The collection from the Season 3 American Idol winner, boasts 13 songs that were produced by U.K. songwriter-composer Harmony.

The Lion King STOLE THE DAMN SHOW LAST NIGHT. Zoanette Johnson got the pimp spot and wailed her own very special version of “The Circle of Life” from The Lion King, be-wigged with a giant blond lion’s main and dressed in leopard print. She definitely got the “lions share” (sorry!) of attention from pundits and fans alike!

Great news for those of you waiting for the debut single from Jessica Sanchez.

According to Video Static, a site that lists music videos in production, the American Idol runner-up is about to embark on a shoot for her single “Tonight” and it looks like her duet partner on the song, Ne-Yo will be involved!
