American Idol alums Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett will join Dolly Parton to co-host the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards. Jimmie is a two-time ACM nominated artist and reigning New Male Artist of the Year. Gabby is a three-time ACM nominated artist and reigning New Female Artist of the Year.
In addition to joining Dolly as co-hosts for the live show exclusively streaming on Prime Video on March 7, the two will join on video on Thursday Feb 10 beginning at 10:30 AM ET to unveil select nominations for the 2022 ACMs via the @ACMawards Twitter account.

Gabby came in 3rd place on American Idol season 16 in 2018, while Jimmie took part in both seasons 10 and 11 in 2011 and 2012. Last year, he competed on the 39th season of Dancing with Stars. Paired up with pro partner Emma Slater, the couple finished the competition in 9th place.
Jimmie is currently nominated for Best New Artist at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in 2022, his first ever Grammy nomination. Additionally, he is also the only Country nominee in an all-genre category.
Gabby has amassed nearly 2 billion global streams for songs like her 5X platinum “I Hope” which is the most-streamed Country song of 2020. “I Hope” featuring Charlie Puth took the No 1 spot for four weeks on the Hot AC charts. She earned the iHeartRadio Titanium Award for reaching over 1 billion radio spins. “The Good Ones also went platinum and sat atop the Country chart for three weeks. “I Hope” which sat atop the Hot Country songs chart for 27 weeks, was the first debut single by a solo female artist to top the Country radio charts since 2017.
The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards will stream live without commercial interruption on Prime Video Monday, March 7 at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST/5 p.m. PST from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The singer is currently on the Down Home Tour 2022, his first headline tour.
